Hermitage of Sant Ramon

Sant Ramon Hermitage was built in the late 1880s at the top of the Montbaig mountain, now better known as Sant Ramon mountain.

Sant Ramon mountain belongs to three neighbouring towns, Sant Boi, Sant Climent and Viladecans. Sant Boi is the closest one to our hometown, Cornellà.

From the summit you can see the Llobregat delta and Barcelona, and, on clear days, Mallorca island.

Last year we took the train from Cornellà to Sant Boi and then we went nordic walking up to Sant Ramon.

Then, when you came to Barcelona in September, we went there again.

It’s an ideal place to practise Nordic Walking.
