“Sant Joan” (Saint John)

Sant Joan is a typical festivity in Catalonia, it’s on 24th of June (or

on 23rd at night)In this festivity we have a nice

time because we meet our friends or familyf to have dinner.

In Sant Joan we eat a typical coca (kind

of cake) and at night we let off

some fireworks and we do a bonfire.

Easter

In the Easter time we meet all family on Monday, mainly with our

godfathers because it’s typical to them to give their nephew the

‘mona’.

Easter is a religious festivity and we have a lot of traditions in this time.

A typical Easter tradition is eating the “mona” and go to the church with a palm in a procession and we

bless them.
