How the audience access the media?
Audience Research is a research that builds up a picture of my target audience’s habits, likes, dislikes etc in order for me to produce a successful advert which appeals to them. It allows me to find out how aware they are with the Academy.
The results are above, 70% of the people I asked to fill out the questionnaire use the internet to access to music. 15% people of my research access the media through the radio.

SynopsisIdea One:
My first idea for the music academy advert will be photographs of music academy students working, the music instruments, past/current work and show the experience/workshops/trips that happened in the music academy flashing through the screen. As the photos are flashing through the screen, there will be a background music and logo of Glenthorne on screen throughout the advert. There will be around 9 or 10 photos in total. The camera will then zoom into the last photo of the music academy teacher and a video of the music academy teacher talking will be talking. He/She will be telling the audience what music academy at Glenthorne offers. The advert can’t be too boring and simple as they are targeting at students at the age of 14-16 and their parents. So the advert has to be entertaining showing the talents and why it is good to take music academy at Glenthorne.
Idea Two:
My second idea for the music academy advert will be of interviews with the music academy students and music academy teacher. Before that, the audiences are going to see the logo of Glenthorne at the beginning of the advert in full screen then it fades into another scene. The scene will be of students will be explaining what their thoughts are of music academy at Glenthorne, giving examples of performances or workshops they’ve been in. Teachers will be telling the audience how they are planning to develop the music academy in the future. The advert can’t be too boring and simple as they are targeting at students at the age of 14-16 and their parents. So the advert has to be entertaining showing the talents and why it is good to take music academy at Glenthorne.
