FIELD REPORT 04.26.2015A
Location: Penrose
Date: Sunday, 26 April, 2015
Time: Approximately 0100pm to 0200pm, CST
Weather: Sunny and clear; quite cold
Present : Myself, and others (names changed and/or withheld for publication)
Sanjay’s Note: Certain portions of this Report may be more subjective in their aspect; the reader’s gracious
indulgence is requested. Not all of these phenomena are understood; they are included here, nonetheless, as an
integral and vital portion of my investigation.
Items Noted:
I returned to Penrose on Sunday, 26 April;1 further activity had been reported by the owners. The weather was
sunny and clear, but quite cold; winter had not yet loosened its grip upon southern Wisconsin.2 The owners had
invited us to luncheon; we sat in their large, warm kitchen and enjoyed a delicious chili together.
While at the table, I happened to glance out the wide picture windows at the back of the villa, which look over
the lawns, and the woods beyond.
Something was looking back at me.3 4 5
For a moment, I thought I was mistaken; I was inside a warm, comfortable villa. Surely, I thought….
I looked out the window, again.
And then, something…moved.6
A tall, unkempt shape, standing motionless before a tree,7 suddenly moved into the woods and disappeared.

These photographs presents views of the woods as I entered them from the villa; the first image presents a view
looking northwest. The second image presents a ground-based branch assembly; the third image presents a
possible glyph arrangement nearby. The fourth image presents a view looking northeast, where I glimpsed a
shadow in the trees, watching me from the heavy, thick brush.
It was a blonde, sand colour, and rather rough-looking.8 9
Oh, my god!
“Look!” I exclaimed, “Something just walked into the trees!”
I was really quite excited; everyone looked where I was gesturing.
“What colour was it, Sanjay?” someone asked me.
“Sort of a blonde, sand colour,” I said, “It matched the tree bark, perfectly.”
8 Curiously, although I observed no genitalia, I had the clear impression it was female. 9 Although extremely rare, sightings of EC with blonde hair have been reported. Sasquatch Chronicles Author(s). 1999, Missouri:

The first and second photographs present views of the woods looking northeast, where I felt, and continued to
feel, something lurking in the shadows, which recognised me, and did not welcome me there. The third and
fourth views present views of two branch assemblies observed in the woods; regrettably, I was in no condition
to examine them further. My dizziness and nausea prevented me from doing a great deal, here.
“You know,” said the owner, “I think she’s been spotted in the neighbourhood before.” 10
Several minutes later, I was washing up in the kitchen; the window overlooked the ravine, and I again glanced
out, to the woods and the heavy brush bordering the lawns.
I was being watched.11
A horrid, freezing cold swept through me; for a moment, I was quite chilled.12

Something was very close to the house…and very close to me.13
I nearly dropped one of the plates; I did not know what to do.
“This is madness,” I said to myself, “What’s going on, here?”
I was about to find out.
A few minutes later, the owner escorted us into the woods; the weather was clear and fine, and the trees were
still quite bare. As we came into the trees, I stopped, suddenly; the others went on ahead.
Everything was eerily quiet; I could hear my heart, beating like a drum.14
Something was in the woods.15
It was an awful, sickening moment; I felt quite ill and nauseated.16 17
Something…in the woods knew I was there, and I was not welcome.18
My head began pounding terribly, as though mallets were striking it, on each side. I recall putting my hands up,
to stop it; it was a horrible, ghastly sensation, and more than once, I nearly cried out from the pain of it. I did
not know what to tell the others; I did not want to spoil their afternoon. We had all enjoyed a nice luncheon; we
had driven a long distance to be there.
“Oh, screw this!” I exclaimed to myself, in some frustration. “I’m going in there!”
And so I went into the woods. I continued to feel dizzy and nauseated;19 the pounding in my head would not go
away. At times it was so intense I could not breathe, or focus; I would clutch onto trees for support, gasping.20

These photographs present views from the bottom of the ravine, looking up the slope to the northeast, whence I
heard the loud, heavy footsteps, but observed nothing.
These photographs presents views of the ravine, brilliantly sunny and clear in the afternoon light, as I began to
realise that it was time for me to leave; it was no longer adviseable to remain in the area.
Nonetheless, it was a brilliantly beautiful day; I enjoyed being outdoors in the sunlight, and exploring the
ravine. The others had gone on ahead of me; I could not hear what they were saying.
I began photographing various areas of reported activity in the woods, as indicated by the property owner;
curiously, my photographs presented a strange, brown discolouration at times. The discolouration did not
appear in all my images, but would appear in one, and not another. I took several photographs in sequence, of a
small cluster of trees, and again, the brown discolouration appeared.21
As I was walking about, I realised that I was looking over my shoulder quite frequently, especially to the
northeast.22
21 The property owner has also reported brown discolourations in several of their own photographs. 22 The feeling of being surrounded, especially in the woods, is also not uncommon, pertinent to EC encounters or presence in the area.

I thought I observed a tall, dark shadow in the trees,23 approximately seventy-five yards away (75yd, or
68.58m). I took several photographs, but when I looked up from the camera, it had disappeared.24
I continued to feel quite uncomfortable in the woods;25 I had an impression that someone or something knew
who I was, and also knew I was aware of them, and therefore did not want me there.26
It was hardly reassuring.
I descended the hill to join the others; my head was still spinning quite badly,27 and I longed to be able to leave,
to get out of there for a time. The others were having a wonderful time talking and laughing; I wished I could
join them, that I might enjoy the afternoon as well.
Far to the northwest, I heard a pair of loud rock-clacks; the others heard it, too.28 I stopped, and cupped my
hands to my ears, but did not hear it again.
Further down the hill, someone asked to take my photograph.
“Okay,” I said, “But take it looking up the hill, with the trees behind me.”
I could not have guessed what was about to happen; I turned to face the camera, and as I did so, I heard the
sound of loud, heavy footsteps, descending the slope behind me.29
I turned my head; there was nothing there. The air shimmered, as though a wave of heat had wafted upon it,
and then it was gone.30
“Why did you turn around?” someone asked me, “I was taking your picture!”
“Sorry,” I said, “I thought I heard something…!”

I had a strong impression, just at that moment, of being called or summoned, to return up the hill.31 It was
rather insistent, and pressing; strangely, I did not feel excited or alarmed, just horribly weary. My entire body
felt weak and sluggish; I just wanted to leave.
“Okay,” I said to myself, “Here I come.”
Leaving the others, I walked back up the hill; I felt very weak, and my progress was difficult. From time to
time, I would grip the trunks of trees on the slope, so that I might not fall. I mounted the crest, and looked to
the northeast; the neighbour’s garden was in sight, just a few yards away. I again had the strong impression I
was to enter the garden, and that something was waiting for me there.32
I did not wish to trespass; I felt most odd. I leaned against an upright, living tree for support; I could not focus,
I could not think.33
“I must get out of here,” I said to myself, with some effort, “I must get out of here.”
Slowly, I made my way through the trees, back to the villa; the distance was not far, but the pounding dizziness
and nausea hindered my progress greatly. I achieved the outside deck, and collapsed on the bench; I felt rather
light-headed, and faint; I wondered if I closed my eyes, if I would sleep.34
Several minutes later, the others returned from the woods; we retrieved our vehicles, and left the area.
Respectfully submitted,

FIELD REPORT 04.26.2015A
SUMMARY
Substantiation of this Report may be provided by my own investigations at Penrose;35 36 I have returned there
throughout 2015, and sincerely hope to continue my efforts. Further substantiation, however, is minimal at
best. There are no published reports for Green, Jefferson, Rock, or Walworth Counties on the BFRO website,37
although two reports each for adjacent Dane and Waukesha Counties are available.38 39 Nonetheless, a cursory
review of same suggests considerable activity in this region.
The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in this Report are:
1. The observation of something standing before a tree, then moving into the woods;
2. Ditto, with blonde or sand-coloured hair and a rough, unkempt appearance;
3. The eerie quiet and stillness in the woods, experienced throughout;
4. The strange, overwhelming dizziness and nausea, experienced throughout;
5. The curious, brown discolouration of certain of my photographs;
6. The possible observation of a tall, dark shadow standing in the trees;
7. The pair of loud rock-clacks, heard far to the northwest;
8. The sound of loud, heavy footsteps heard descending the slope behind me;
9. The strange, shimmering air in the woods, which vanished suddenly.
These behaviours, and the history of my own experience,40 may be considered sufficient to suggest the presence
of EC41 at Penrose in the spring of 2015.
The strange, overwhelming dizziness and nausea experienced in the woods may be considered a personal
infrasound event, lacking any other definition. Such effect upon my physical and perceptive senses suggest
some type of sensory manipulation, although any further clarification is almost impossible to confirm.
An unusual number of subjective events also occurred. While these cannot be considered conclusive evidence,
neither should they be discounted. Although it is reasonable to review the impact of non-objective stimuli in this
Report, such effects, while personally quite vivid and at times overwhelming, are nonetheless nearly impossible
to substantiate with any measure of certainty.
