Bhante’s birthday wish is that his legacy of written Dharma be secure and continue to reach people all over the world.

But half his writings are out of print and unavailable, and search through his entire oeuvre is impossible (even digitally).

Our gift will be to publish Bhante’s collected works for the first time, including unpublished or ‘lost’ material, new prefaces and endnotes and a comprehensive index for easy exploration – all verified by Bhante and beautifully produced. These will be the definitive texts for us and future generations, in durable hardback, affordable softback and flexible digital.

To make this happen, all of us around the Triratna world need to gather £100,000/€140,000/$155,000 by 26th August.

Bhantes Geburtstagswunsch ist, dass sein Vermächtnis geschriebener Dharma-Lehren gesichert wird und weiterhin Menschen in aller Welt erreicht. Die Hälfte seiner Schriften sind nicht mehr lieferbar, die Suche danach (sogar digital) ist schwierig und es wurde nur wenig übersetzt. Unser Geschenk wird sein, eine ganz neue Auflage seiner Schriften zu veröffentlichen, schön gestaltet, richtig verschlagwortet, mit Suchfunktion, neuem Vorwort und Endnoten, einschließlich bisher unveröffentlichtem und „verlorenem“ Material, alles von Bhante autorisiert – die Standardtexte für uns und künftige Generationen, als dauerhaftes Hardcover, günstiges Taschenbuch und als geschmeidige Digitalversion. Das wird 100.000 £ kosten, einschließlich der Übersetzung einiger Texte in nicht-englische Sprachen.
