    AUGUST 2014

    Lodge Meetings :

Letter From the Exalted RulerFellow Elks,

I have just returned from the Natl Convention and it was a great turn- out. The Natl average for ENF donations was up tremendously and ex- ceeded our goals. Membership loss and the lack of participation were the

primary focus for this year. I was able to spend a lot of time with otherOklahoma Elks discussing the good and bad of our area. Broken Arrowlodge had nearly 30 members in attendance. Sapulpa and Pawhuska trailed

just under that. Pawhuska Ritual team represented our state and per- formed with near perfection.

I would like to encourage our members to become more active withtheir participation. There are so many good and beneficial things we couldaccomplish if we had more than just a couple of members doing almost eve- rything. Dont forget about our upcoming events listed on page 3. Plus westill have our Pitch tournaments and dinners on Wednesday nights at 6:30as well as Steak Night on Fridays at 6:30 followed by Lucky Lady drawing.Drop in and see us and bring a friend!
