Live music and entertainment will be featured on three stages. Water activities include free kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and fishing. You can also take a ride on a Vietnam-era Swift Boat or tour the Bay on the amphibious SEAL Bus. This is a free event. Time: 10 am–6 pm Location: Bayside Parkway, Chula Vista www.chulavistaharborfest.com Aug. 21, Luau and Legends of Surfing Invitational Begin the day at the beach below Scripps Pier with a surfing tournament to benefit UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center. Each sponsored team will be paired with a surfing legend to vie for traditional trophies. Afterward, celebrate with Luau festivities featuring traditional Polynesian dancing, live music, and a tropical buffet. To close the day, the memorable Rell Sunn Award will be presented. From Columbian to Cajun, paintings to pottery, old favorites and new directions, the Imperial Avenue Street Festival is not to be missed. This is a free event.
