Aug. 20, Chula Vista Harbor FestEnjoy art, food, and fun for the whole family at Harbor Fest! The “Tacos & Spirits Fest” will feature the best tacos around with chefs competing for your vote. Discover regional specialties among wine, craft spirits and beer tastings. Live music and entertainment will be featured on three stages. Water activities include free kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and fishing. You can also take a ride on a Vietnam-era Swift Boat or tour the Bay on the amphibious SEAL Bus. Aug. 21, Luau and Legends of Surfing InvitationalBegin the day at the beach below Scripps Pier with a surfing tournament to benefit UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center. Afterward, celebrate with Luau festivities featuring traditional Polynesian dancing, live music, and a tropical buffet.
