JC Carter teamed with Samsung Total Petrochemical (STP) for the C4 LPG Tank project in Korea. The project consisted of an earthquake-resistant design and included two JC Carter Submerged In-Tank Pumps. JC Carter pumps were selected for their compact size and excellent NPSH characteristic. This allowed STP to utilize an additional 2500 tons of C4. STP required suppliers to provide and deliver resources within a 12 month period and JC Carter successfully executed the project on time. The C4 LPG project was on a fast track beginning in April 2009. JC Carter installed and commissioned the pumps in May 2010, without incident, allowing the C4 facility to start on schedule.

As a result, three suppliers (Han-Tech, Daewoo Engineering and JC Carter) were recognized for outstanding performance and contribution to the project.
