Making a Call From Contacts

1. From the home screen, touch Contacts.

2. Touch the contact to be called.

3. Touch the number you want to call and the call is dialed.

4. Touch End call to end the call.

Sending a Message

1. From the home screen, touch Messaging.

4. Touch the Enter message box. Using the keyboard, type the desired message. While composing the message, touch the Menu key for these options:

• Insert smiley: Add a text emoticon.• Add text: Add an S MemoTM, Calendar event,

Location, Contact, or Text template.• Add slide: Create a slideshow within the

message body. If you choose to add a slide, additional slide editing options will appear in the Menu. (This option converts the message to an MMS.)

• Add subject: Add a subject to the message. (This option converts the message to an MMS.)

• Scheduled message: Set the message to be sent at a certain time.

• Discard: Discard message and its contents.• Translate: Translate the message to another

language.

2. Touch the Compose icon.

3. Using the keyboard, enter the recipient’s name or phone number. The phone will offer suggestions based on the letters or numbers you type.

6. Touch the Send icon to send the message.

5. You can attach items to the message by touching Add attachment, which also converts the message to an MMS. After touching Add attachment, you can choose:

• Images: Add a picture.• Take picture: Take a new picture.• Video: Add a video.• Record video: Record a new video.• Audio: Add a sound clip.• Record audio: Record a new audio clip.• S Memo: Add an S NoteTM.• Calendar: Add a calendar event.• Location: Add a location.• Contacts: Add a contact card.
