How To Download Image


Equipment for Download

• GT-B7350 device• USB DATA Link Cable• Download program

– MSM7255_MultiDownloader_v2.9.exe

• Modem driver– Samsung_Mobile_USB_Driver(V5.2)_V1.2.1050.0.zip


Driver Installation

• Make sure that you install drivers.• Modem Driver Installation

– If you want to download the image, install the Samsung CDMA Modem driver.

– After you install the driver of Samsung CDMA Modem, please restart a host computer.


How to Download – 1/6

• Step1. Turn off your device.• Step2. Execute the Downloader Program.

– MSM7255_MultiDownloader_v2.9.exe



• Step3. Select the “Orsay” at the “model” on the tool.

• Step4. Select Phone, Eboot, PDA, CSC, and Langpak files on the tool.



• Step5. Check the checkbox at the “Download Mode” on the tool.– Check the “Phone Boot”, “Phone”, “Eboot”, “PDA”,

“CSC” and “LangPak” checkbox.



• Step6. Press the volume down and hold key on your device simultaneously.– Device is entered to the download mode.

• Step7. Connect your device to a host computer by using USB DATA Link Cable.



• Step8. Click the “Start” button.

• Step9. Downloading proceed– Modem image -> EBOOT image -> PDA image ->

CSC image -> Langpak image



• Step10. When the download is finished, the device is rebooted automatically.

• It has general system logs. The max buffer size is 512KB.

• How to make logging file– Step1. The logging is

started in booting time– Step2. Press “*#9900#” – Step3. Copy file to PC via

ActiveSync

• Location of logging file – \Temp\DebugDump[x].txt


RIL Log

• It is RIL(radio interface layer) logs-message between PDA and Modem.

• How to make logging file– Step1. The logging is

started in booting time– Step2. Press “*#745#” – Step3. Copy file to PC via

ActiveSync

• Location of logging file – \Temp\RIL*.txt


Net Log

• Netlog is a tool which captures TCP/IP packet

• How to make logging file– Step1. Dial *#638#– Step2. Start if Netlog is

launched– Step3. Perform the test– Step6. Press “Stop” button.– Step7. Copy netlog file to

PC via ActiveSync

• Location of logging file – \netlog*.cap


Video Call Log

• It is for video call.• How to make logging file

– Step1. Start video call and hang up– Step2. Press “*#938#”– Step3. Copy file to PC via ActiveSync

• Location of logging file – \Temp\[xx-xx] VTLogxx.txt

• There are no message boxes like Ril Log or DebugDump log

• Cause– Cannot create VT Call log during VT Call


MS Error Reporting Log - 1/2

• Microsoft error reporting

• How to make logging file– Step1. Make sure that

“Start->Settings->system-> Error Reporting->Enable error reporting” is selected.

– Step2. Performing the test– Step3. When you see

“We’re sorry…” message– Step4. Press “Send”– Step5. Press “*#9900#– Step6. Copy file to PC via

ActiveSync
