"I was really surprised because I wasn't expecting it and I ran out the register's office. I was just screaming so loud that I dropped my phone and it got this huge gash on it from where I had dropped it," Minton said.

Minton found out he was No. 1 in June of last school year and has a multitude of activities to accompany that academic accomplishment. He is also involved in Spelling UIL, IB, Academic Decathlon, Social Studies UIL, Hi-Q and choir.

“Since my dad is a coach, I used to see other kids practice,” Romero said. “When I was little I didn’t watch cartoons, I would watch tapes of fights of taekwondo.”

While Romero had already been participating in taekwondo, Cedillo started a year later.

“At first I thought it was karate, which I was interested in, but then I found out it was taekwondo and I liked it,” Cedillo said.

Walking through the lush farmland in the Colorado wind, it seemed to be a normal sunny day save for one thing. Furry legs and ears lay scattered with blood across the soft, grassy field. The once vibrant and grazing cows were all lying on the ground with their limbs mutilated when the previous night, they had peacefully laid under the moonlit sky. Every last one of them was either dead or close to death due to injury.

Wolves were the initial explanation for this calamity but among close inspection, it was obvious that no animal had been the culprit; there were no bite marks. Several cows had a perfectly round hole a little bigger than a baseball. It was as if a cylinder or large laser had cut a perfect hollow hole through their head. No physical weapon could have created these perfect cylinders, neither bullets nor knife marks were found in the cows, no bite marks were evident. What could have possibly caused this adversity? Perhaps the answer lies within the stars.

Aldo Meza, Coronado's BIM instructor and varsity wrestling coach is a firm believer in extraterrestrials and he recounts his encounters which prove the existence of aliens.

The first time Meza developed a true interest for aliens was in 1995 in southern Colorado when his college friend encountered mutilated cows on a farm land.

"This event became a news story and there was just no explanation for it. I know that aliens were the cause of it" said Meza.
