List and Information of Medical Colleges from India

This compilation is the complete list of medical colleges from India as per the Medical Council of India’s Jan 2013 information.

Information is provided at two levels. The first level is the basic information such as the address of the college. The second level information includes information such as the names of the dean, number of seats, facility, Admission Procedure, Application Procedure, Eligibility Criteria, Fee Details, Hostel Facilities, Internship, House Jobs, Established Date, Management details, Principal's name, PG Courses (MS, MD, Diploma Courses) available, Course Super Speciality Courses (MCh / DM), Other Courses (BDS / MDS / B.Pharma / B.Sc), Selection, Criteria, Scholarship, Reservation and Eligibility Criteria and Criteria and eligibility as governed by state bodies.

Most entries have been verified however there maybe some entries that are old and that which are not updated by the college themselves.

The information has been segregated by States and Union Territories for easy reference. The number of seats in many colleges have increased and this may not be reflected accurately in this compilation. Some colleges may also have started some new post-graduate courses too and this again may not be reflected in the current database.

The appendix section contains labels that can be cut and used for sending out letters. This has been done for the convenience of an end user.
