It is very important to read the terms and conditions and provisions of the convention between the bank and the cardholder, which contain and include important informations about all the obligations terms of using the card, such as important terminologies must be recognizable (credit limit, grace period, due date, bank’s profits, commissions and fines, terms on how to benefit from rewards and benefits and prohibitions and alerts).

Activating the card means that the cardholder agrees to the terms and conditions of the agreement signed by him.

If the credit card is not activated within two years from the date of issue, the bank has the right to cancel the card. The cardholder must update his data in time.

The client has the right to get 4 additional free cards for his family members who are over 18 years of age.

The cardholder is fully responsible for the usage of the card, to safeguard it from theft and he must follow the bank tips for the security of the card from fraud and theft. The cardholder commits to be responsible for any commissions resulting in cash withdrawals by using the card, as well as for transferring from the card account to his personal account.

If the cardholder is a non-Saudi citizen and his Iqama has expired, he must make full payment of the card and the bank has the right to cancel the card.

The Cardholder undertakes not to use them for trading in foreign currencies and buying currencies.

Credit Cards

The bank guarantees the Cardholder in paying his/her purchases from all merchants and organizations that accept the Card, provided none of the articles are violated within credit limit granted to the clients.

Any fraudulent activity conducted on the card without the knowledge of the client, the bank will accept the cost of the fraudulent activity transactions amounts, except for cases in which the bank shows the cardholder’s involvement or responsibility for such operations such as falsification of credit card.

The bank may at any time without obligation to give explanations or reasons to the Cardholder refuse to honor any of the transactions that the Cardholder initiated on his/her Card including parallel use of same Card in transactions in two different places, or us of the Card in illegal and suspicious transactions.

The bank shall not be liable for any expense and obligations incurred about it. The bank will have the right to freeze the Cardholder’s Account if he/she fails to update the bank with a copy of the renewed ID, upon expiration.

The bank shall have the absolute right to determine the cash advance level which is subject to change based on the Cardholder’s credit history as well as his/her credit behavior that is determined by the bank’s record.

The bank has the right to cancel any transaction without commitment and responsibility on the bank or his need to provide information about reason for cancellation of the operations, such as illegal transactions / suspicious entities, or transactions done on the card at the same time but in two different places and geographically far away or in approximate timing, and it’s extra feature for the client. The bank would not be responsible for any amounts of illegal transaction.

The bank may at any time and without prior written notice to the Cardholder modify or change any terms herein. However, post any such changes, the bank will notify the Cardholder (30 days in advance) about the changes. The retention of the Card by Cardholder shall constitute the Cardholder’s acceptance thereof.

The bank will provide a copy of documents of any transaction conducted on the card if requested by the Cardholder.

Bank records are approved in the event of discrepancy between Cardholder’s records and Bank’s records regarding amounts paid in cash.

The bank will refund the Cardholder for any fees or charges imposed if Cardholder opts not to use the requested Card and does not actually activate it during a period of (14 business days).

The Cardholder hereby acknowledge that some of the privileges provided by the card, such as airport lounges access programs offered through quarters cooperating with the card issuing company. Those privileges do not pose any bank’s commitment towards the Cardholder, and the bank shall provide the client any changes or updates to the accredited lounges. It is preferred to visit the website to know more about the accredited lounges. Another privileges are Travel insurance and protection in case of death which are subject to the terms and conditions of providers to these optional features.

He/She take full responsibility for the funds deposited to his/her card account . All funds deposited to his/her account are from legal sources.

The client undertakes to use his own card and not to permit others to use it.
