Tequabio Legends
• Tequabio is a legend that I created which is a combination of: Technology, Aqua, and Biology. (Tech-kwa-B-O). I focused entirely on graffiti because that was the style of art that has interested me the most. In this project, I came up with an entire universe. The hero is Hemobiotic, a man with humble roots who travels the universe spreading the message of Tequabio. I thought of his travels in space and how he would come across rocks floating there. I imagined what would happen when he would dive into the depths of ocean planets, or how he would react to a city planet. With each poster I would add to this universe a new adventure, a new reflection, a new discovery that would be adapted to the Tequabio experience.

Onslaught
• My current project, which is still in progress, is a series of works on the topic of ‘rage’, exploring it in various ways to help me better understand these complicated emotions. Working from photographs of myself has encouraged me to focus more on my observational skills and the use of ink and pencil help to achieve a grittier and more emotional quality. Looking at the work of the painter, Francis Bacon has been a major source of inspiration throughout the project. But unlike his work, my project will also incorporate a gentler side. To go along with my images of rage, I plan on drawing models analogous to angels so as to balance my masculine imagery depicting demons.
