My name is Sam Geddes, I am 19 and I am currently a student doing Design For Industry at Northumbria University. It is a practical 4 year degree, which has given me experience in working on a number of differ-ent projects as part of a team to tight deadlines. I am keen and enthusiastic. I am an original and cre-ative undergraduate designer, who relishes a challenge. Being equipped with the skills needed to transform a business idea.

My name is Sam Geddes, I’m 19 years old, an avid designer at the University of Northumbria, and throughout my life, i’ve always wanted to be one. I’m asking you now, hoping I can join your company for a placement, which starts in March 2014 and ends in June. This is a very im-portant part of my course and an important stage in my future, my first steps in fulfilling my dream to become a designer.

What I can offer your company, is precision and perfection, I myself am a perfectionist. Hard working, good organisational skills with an eye for detail. My design theory is second to none, always reading up on the latest trends and products that come onto the market, I am an ex-perienced Photoshop and InDesign user, and am just being taught the beginnings of Alias, SolidWorks and Rhino of which I am a quick learner. During my time here at Northumbria, we have taken upon many group projects, being a team player is key I feel for the success of any design company and it is this that I thrive upon.
