DESCRIPTION

You’re invited to join us and trade compliance counterparts for one of the various programs we do across the country focused on lower cost high quality, hands-on, practical application and case study based outreach, education and training. We guarantee a proven, lively, top-notch and useful experience. Our agendas are a direct result of feedback from attendees at prior events as well as counterparts in industry and the US Government. We are doing two December programs in Salt Lake City, Utah (on Thursday, December 10th a full one-day “Evolving Export Controls, Compliance and Enforcement” seminar/workshop and on Friday afternoon, December 11th, a free 2-hour session for academia, labs, federally funded research and development centers and anyone doing business/research involving foreign nationals and foreign persons anywhere in the world). The idea is to provide practitioners the information and tools they need to actually do the job. Unlike other high-cost providers who do little more than cut and paste chapter and verse from the regulations, put the material on a slide and then read it to the audience, our interactive programs engage attendees with a great bang for the buck. The Utah efforts are hosted by US Department of Commerce, International trade Administration, the U.S & Foreign Commercial Service® , World Trade Center Utah and Salt Lake Community College as well as a variety of other sponsors and partners including local, regional, national and international organizations. We strive for a balanced and diverse speaker team including savvy professionals from inside and outside the region and a cross-section of experienced industry practitioners, consultants, lawyers, US Government and others from the trade compliance/export control communities. The full program on December 11th includes breakfast, lunch and free one-hour one-on-one sessions with presenters. If you have any questions please contact Shelby Peterson, International Trade Specialist, Utah US Export Assistance Center, 801-255-1873, [email protected].
