2 October 2012 A few days ago i have started to do my brainstorming as my Stage 1 in my Personal Project Booklet. So far i have finished stage one and two. Stage 1 Brainstorming: Im interested in dance. I have never taken any lesson in dance before. Im interested how our body flows when we listen to musics. I want to show people how freestyle dancing could be better than choreography because of the stronger connection from the music to our body. I want to see how when different people listen to one particular genres they move according to the song, like if we listen to hip hop our body will move fast like the beat, differently to ballet. I want to see how it works how different genres create different movements. How they were all created. I want to see the mastermind and feelings that creates the movement just from one genres. Stage 2 Change these interest into questions 1. How does different genre’s create different types of movement? 2. How does the music and our feelings create movements? 3. How does the music beats connect to the freestyle movement? 4. Why is freestyle dancing better than choreography? 5. How does type of dance originally began? 6. How to create a new dance style? The next step to this is to hand out a proposal for my parents, Supervisor and grade leader to see if they have approve my personal project. 11 October 2012 I have been meeting my Supervisor (Miss Yulia) for 5 times now and in the meetings i believe i have felt lost and not on track. After weeks of having doubts on my Personal Project about Dance, i have made a decision restart from scratch because i no longer feel passionate about Dance. It has taken me awhile to finally have find something that i am interested in. After a list of ideas i have narrow it down to two • Eco Friendly House • Eco Friendly Room Decor (Interior) After gathering my thoughts i have decided to do an Eco friendly room decor. Writing my proposal was quite a challenge because i had to narrow things down even further. Choosing my topic and also questions was the hardest part because i had so many things in mind that i might and might can do and at this point i really had to push myself forward and be realistic.

2 October 2012A few days ago i have started to do my brainstorming as my Stage 1 in my Personal Project Booklet. So far i have finished stage one and two.

Stage 1Brainstorming:Im interested in dance.

Stage 2Change these interest into questions1. How does different genre’s create different types of movement?2. How does the music and our feelings create movements?3. How does the music beats connect to the freestyle movement?4. Why is freestyle dancing better than choreography?5. How does type of dance originally began?6. How to create a new dance style?

The next step to this is to hand out a proposal for my parents, Supervisor and grade leader to see if they have approve my personal project.

11 October 2012I have been meeting my Supervisor (Miss Yulia) for 5 times now and in the meetings i believe i have felt lost and not on track. After weeks of having doubts on my Personal Project about Dance, i have made a decision restart from scratch because i no longer feel passionate about Dance. It has taken me awhile to finally have find something that i am interested in.

After a list of ideas i have narrow it down to two• Eco Friendly House• Eco Friendly Room Decor (Interior)

After gathering my thoughts i have decided to do an Eco friendly room decor. Writing my proposal was quite a challenge because i had to narrow things down even further. Choosing my topic and also questions was the hardest part because i had so many things in mind that i might and might can do and at this point i really had to push myself forward and be realistic.

Page 2: Sally's PP Journal

The topic that are my top three is• Eco Friendly room decor for students•The benefit of Eco friendly teenage bedroom•Helping the environment by having Eco Friendly bedroom for studentsIn the end with the help and agreements with my parents and supervisor they have agree with my choice on ‘Helping the environment by having Eco Friendly bedroom for students.

By the end of this project i will have a great understanding on how we can help the environment by having an Eco Friendly bedroom. I will be taking materials from old discarded materials and make my product out of it which is a small model of an eco friendly room.

21 October 2012(Final Proposal: Uploaded!!)I have found some research on what a room decor should have in their room. i have used the internet source so far on having the basic knowledge on what i should know now. i will be designing a bedroom to be more energy efficient that is including materials that uses less energy resources to produce. For example using Natural materials such as for mattresses it is best to use natural latex, a thick foam made from sap or rubber trees, or even pure grow wool. With furnitures we have to chose an item from a recycle products or sustainable harvest wood. I’ve a couple websites that are great on things about the furnitures, carpeting, Appliances, Bedding and curtains, and paints. But learning from these websites are clearly not enough.

My friend’s Mum is an Interior Designer and i have asked her if she have decor an Eco friendly room, and yes she have and agreed for me to interview her. I will also be interviewing My Aunt who has her own company called ‘Moods to die for’.I am now still searching for a professional model maker to help me construct my small model product of the room. If he have done a his job using recycled materials i will be asking him how he did it and with what sort of materials, perhaps he could help get a list of materials that he does not need or where to get it.

2 November 2012Me and Ms Yulia had another meeting. I have giving my final proposal and she have agreed on it as well. I have talked to her about my up coming plans which is to interview Cara’s mum, My aunty and a specialist to make models. The next meeting is when i have completed my primary resources and have created my interview questions.

(More research)

One of the most important factor of home design is a child’s bedroom. Most parents goal is to make their kid’s interior bedroom eco friendly that keeps various toxins, radiation and bacterias that could be exposed to a child’s body.

Most students have thought that they cannot help the environment as much because they cannot make a drastic change. Having an eco-friendly room does help the environment very much because to create these materials they uses solar panels which requires less energy to create.

BenefitsThe benefits to a green home are twofold—first they are better for the environment, yourself, and your family and, second, they save you money over the life of the home.

Green homes can offer significant financial benefits such as:

*  Proper insulation and air sealing will keep your heating and cooling costs lower, while efficient windows, appliances, lighting, and other household equipment will lower your electricity bills.

*  Green homes are built with high-quality building materials so they are more durable and require fewer repairs.

*  As the market demand continues to rise for green homes, investing in a green home now can mean increased value in the future.

Green homes often include the following additional benefits

*  Health benefits: Green homes use toxin-free building materials, utilize natural ventilation, and have fewer problems with mold and mildew, just to name a few.

Page 4: Sally's PP Journal

*  Environmentally friendly: Green homes use less energy than comparable standard homes. Often, green homes use alternative energy sources, reducing dependence on conventional energy sources.

* Use fewer natural resources: Green building uses fewer natural resources, and many of the materials used have recycled contents, keeping with the “resource conservation” green principle.

Materials:

Flooring “As you know, children spend most of their time in the room, and almost always they stay in direct contact with the floor: they play, draw, or simply lie on it.  The goal of adults is to make sure that the cover is most environmentally friendly and safe for the young health.”“Floor coverings made of wood (plank flooring, parquet flooring), and cork flooring are definitely  most environmentally clean and safe.  Parquet is a covering made of wooden slats, connected by locks. Its material is made of elm, oak, birch and other hardwood trees. Wood has several important eco-friendly advantages: it does not impede air exchange, and thus preserves the optimal indoor climate.Wood has excellent heat and sound insulating properties. It is an absolutely natural material! When the flooring is installed according to all the rules, it will wear out very slowly if you give it a good care.  Another indisputable advantage of wooden flooring  is that their natural beauty creates a special atmosphere of comfort and warmth in the kid’s room.”

Another choice is to have carpet on teen’s bedroom to cut down on waste. If purchasing new carpeting, choose carpeting with a high recycled or sustainably harvested content, as well as low volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Hit the thrift shops with your teen to choose an array of complementary accent rugs to place around the room. Mismatched sizes and textures within the same color scheme will create a funky look. If installing a new hardwood floor, use reclaimed lumber recycled from local buildings, as even sustainably harvested wood must often be transported over long distances. Choose a VOC-free sealant as well.

Walls

1 Environmentally-friendly. It’s desirable to use natural materials rather than synthetic.2 Security -  materials should be non-toxic and unable to cause allergies.

Page 5: Sally's PP Journal

Paper walls are the most popular option – low cost and variety of colors is a significant plus. It’s great to use natural wallpapers made of herbs. The fabric for these are: bamboo, rattan, cork, jute, cane, sisal and more than two hundred other natural materials. They “breathe” and maintain the optimum level of humidity in the room. In comparison with other types of wallpaper these have excellent sound insolation. Another obvious advantage is that natural wallpapers have bactericidal properties and are anti static.

Caring atmosphere is the best design for the kid’s room. Eco-friendly materials and loving attitude are the best insurance of a healthy future for your child.

Furniture

Chose furnitures that are made from recycled products or sustainably harvested wood. For parents it is a great opportunity to teach your teens about reusing waste. Purchasing used furniture and then painting over it with their choice of color. And if they have outgrows the paint, its easy to paint the furniture again, which will keep the room looking fresh without expense or waste.

Appliances

Although your teen may want her own TV and stereo in her bedroom, limit the appliances kept in bedrooms. Have the family share a television in the living room rather than putting one in a teen's room, for instance. When everyone in the house follows this rule, your teen will be more likely to understand its purpose -- cutting down on consumption. Additionally, family members will be less likely to withdraw to their own rooms, encouraging more family time. Use a power strip to plug in any appliances in your teen's room, and teach her to turn it off when not in use so the appliances don't waste power.

Bedding and Curtains

Buy organic bedding and curtains, or visit thrift stores to buy them used. Alternatively, make your own. Teach your teen about upcycling by creating funky curtains made of old blue jeans patched together, for example. Leave fraying hems turned outward if you want a grungy look, and decorate with beads, patches or embroidered designs. Like other upcycling projects, this gives old items a new purpose, making them more useful or attractive.

Paint

Choose VOC-free paint for the ceiling and walls. Let your teen choose the color, but remind him it may look darker or brighter when covering the entire room. Encourage them to use a color block design, using two or three different colors on the walls. If he wants to

Page 6: Sally's PP Journal

paint a mural or stencil art on the walls, let them do it, as long as you approve of the basic theme. When he outgrows it, he can simply paint it again.

Plants

Add plants that improve the air quality and are nontoxic to pets. Aside from cleaning the air, plants may lift your teen's mood and create a calming atmosphere that helps with concentration. Researchers have found that flowers in particular tend to act as a mood booster. Choose pretty pots or let your teen paint terra cotta pots to complement the room's decor.

Accents

If you found mainly used items for your teen's bedroom, you probably saved a considerable amount of money. Splurge on two or three items at a local eco-friendly shop, such as beaded curtains made from recycled plastic.

While i was researching i was talking to my dad and have came across asking him these little questions that have came in my mind.

Would you ever build an eco-friendly house?“Yes, i would definitely. But i dont think i would want to pay for it”

Why is it that environmental friendly things cost more while it takes less energy to make?“That is a good point. Environmental friendly materials does take less energy to make because they are using solar panels which takes a lot of money to make. The cost of it is very high to make even though it does cost much to cooperate or process. Non environmental friendly is less expensive because it doesn't take much nor cost much to dig a whole in the ground and get coal. Thats why most of use run in coal because it cost less and it is easier”

Have you ever help create businesses to use environmental materials for their buildings?“ Yes, i have always promoted eco-friendly glass windows that reflects the heat. I promote this material because i know with the air conditioning their job is to keep the heat out and with this glass it helps the air conditioning by 30% that makes energy saving. Although i promote this i dont always win the argument because of the high cost”Graham W. Gething - Mechanical Engineer of buildings

I have set up a planning for myself. Dates and also things i need to do. I am really struggling with PP. Im quite disappointed at myself for always leaving my PP behind and oing my homework first then my PP when it is suppose to be my PP first. I really need to step up my game. I need to prioritize PP and make my questions asap and start interviewing. I will now make questions for Cara’s Mum, My Aunty who are both interior designer.

PLANNING

What is your product going to look like/be?

I will be designing and creating a small miniature model of an Eco-friendly teenage room complete with natural materials as the interior. I will be using recycled materials / trash such as carton, plastics, unused cloth, aluminum, metal, paper etc.

What techniques are you going to use to make/complete the product, you may list a variety here and then choose one

I will be researching on how i could make my product from an expert who makes miniature model housings but then put in my own research on what materials i would be using because i will create my miniature model using recycled materials or even trash.

Explain the stages that you will need to go through to complete it

1. Always remember my Topic Question2. Getting more research from Questionnaries for teenager and parents, Books, Interview

etc3. Researching on how to make my product4. Searching and visiting areas where they sell eco-friendly materials5. Searching the costs and differentiate with regular materials6. Collecting recycle materials to create my product7. Create product8. Buy eco friendly paint to paint product if needed9. Finish product

What did you choose this way of showing your product, is it going to be successful?

I’ve chose this way to show my product because i want to show teenagers that they can have a great interior design with eco-friendly materials. I want to make my product as

Page 8: Sally's PP Journal

lovely as i can to attracts teenagers and encourage them to have an eco friendly room. My main target are the teenagers but i think my product will also make their parents realize on how important it is for us as teenagers to know the importance and crisis of our environment. Teenagers today tend to forget or not know what or how they could help their environment. One of a fun and create way is to have an eco friendly room. Although creating my product will be a challenge, i believe it will be successful to create and get into teenagers mind on how they can create their own eco friendly room for your end our environments benefit.

15 December 2012It took me awhile to finish the questions to interview Tante Fifi (Cara’s mum) and finally today i’ve sent her an email which i totally regret!. I now want to ask the same questions to my Auntie who lives in Australia, i have sent her the email and i just need them to answer :).

1. Have you ever decorated an eco-friendly room?2. If yes, is it harder to find materials for the room?3. Was the cost of the materials more expensive than other normal materials (un eco

friendly)?4. Was it a challenge to create the interior design for an eco friendly room?5. From that project did it make you think why we all should have an eco-friendly room?6. What made you accept this project?7. Do you think by having an eco-friendly room can help the environment? How so?8. Should students have an eco-friendly room?9. How does teenagers have an eco-friendly room in the most convenient and cheapest

ways?10. How can we make our room eco-friendly? Which part? Why?11. How much carbon footprint can you reduce with an eco-friendly room?12. What impacts do they have to the environment?13. When designing a room, which steps should i take? What should i have in mind?14. How can i make an eco-friendly room appeal to teenagers?

19 December 2012Im still waiting for their emails to come but i got a book of ideas on what i should have in my ‘teenage bedroom’ model. It gave me such a good picture of what is usually needed in their bedrooms. Looking at the books and some interior designers designs it have given me such great ideas on how i should design mine.

20 December 2012Making my model would be such a hard thing to do, and making my model with environmentally friendly materials it would be a much bigger challenge, so i really need to

Page 9: Sally's PP Journal

get started!. I’ve done a few research on what eco-friendly materials should i be using to create my model.

1 February 2013After so long not seeing my supervisor, i finally arranged a meeting to see her. Right now i am so regressing not seeing and really not doing much for my personal project, i really need to be more focused on it! the due date is not far away!. Today we have talked about how i will make my product and also how i will make my product. My original plan was to make a small product while my supervisor thought i will be making 2m by 2m scale, which is incredibly big but i actually love the idea of it!. The things that i need to do now is to list the materials that are needed to make my product and what will i make out of it, e.g: lights, desk, shelves etc. I also need to go back and read the criteria carefully and make sure i get all the things that is required.

3 February 2013Today i talked about my personal project to my dad, just to get him to know where i am, and to be honest i am seriously not proud of myself for where i am, and there is no one to blame but myself. So today have made a big sign in my room showing the very close due date of my personal project, which by the way, kills me every time i see it. even now. Anyways, i’ve talked to my dad on how i will be making my product and he sure thinks that it is a lot of work, especially for me with a very little amount of time! The conversation was pretty long and broad but i was very interested with his idea for me to make a 3D Graphic design of the model electronically as the product. He think this is much more efficient and time suitable for me to make it as a product, as much as interested i am and agree that he is right, i really like this idea. So, so far i have 3 choices to make for my product• A small model of what a teenage bedroom looks like. This model will be created with

eco-friendly materials or recycled materials. • A large model (perhaps 2mx2m) of a teenage eco-friendly room complete with eco-

friendly interiors made with eco-friendly materials. e.g The table in the bedroom could be made by......

• A 3D design on a teenage bedroom, complete with all views of the interiors, colors.

With the new idea which me and my dad came up with i then wanted to ask my supervisor if i can make a 3D Design as my product instead and also i asked Mr. Gavin(grade leader and also IT Teacher) on what would be the best software for me to make a 3D design. Unfortunately my internet is down today so i have no quick response to my questions. Besides that, i cannot research any further for the software myself.

4 February 2013Today i’ve met my supervisor on my way to class, i’ve explained to her what my email would have said. Unfortunately, she said that i can not make a 3D Design to be my product, i can make my early designs electronically but i still have to make the product. If i make the 3D design as my product, it is irrelevant to my purpose and QC. So today, i

Page 10: Sally's PP Journal

have decided that i will be creating the 2mx2m model of a teenage bedroom with self-made interiors using eco-friendly materials. Although, i would not be making all the furnitures inside the bedroom, but i will be making a few things myself, such as table, lights, etc because it is quite impossible to make the bed completely eco-friendly. The next step that i should do is to research on what eco-friendly materials i should be using to make my product and also with what materials should i use for a certain things. I need recycled, sustainably harvested or organically grown materials!.

5 February 2013I got a book awhile ago. It is a book called ‘Room for Children’, i chose to buy this book because it is for me to find the basic needs of what teenagers need in their bedroom. This book shows stylish spaces for sleep and also play by Susanna Salk and was forwarded by Kelly Weastler. This book is basically pictures of interior rooms for teenagers and kids, showing me and also creating ideas for me. This book holds lots of interior designer such as Kelly Weastler herself, Charlotte Moss, Jamie Drake, Alessandra Branca, Amanda Nisbet.

I’ve did a few browsing on the internet and found what was called L.E.E.D Certified designer. L.E.E.D stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental design that is intended to provide building owners and operators to identify and implement pratical and measurable green building designs, construction, operations and maintenance solution.

I want my product to be a combination of style with sustainability, having few interior furnitures and lightings made from materials that uses less energy or require fewer resources to produce. Creating the room to be more energy efficient. Also with sustainable materials that is environmentally friendly promotes a healthier interior environment.

Today at lunch i visited Mr. Julian who is my Design Technology teacher. I’ve asked him what materials that are eco-friendly that can help me make my product.• Chip board• Bamboo• Plywood - recommended to use plywood for table or desks• Rice paper - for making the lighting

6 February 2013“Products specified for an eco-friendly interior design environment must be classified as non-toxic and can include an element that is sustainably grown or raised, so as to not cause extinction within the ecosystem. The organic material is grown or raised without the use of pesticides or herbicides. Eco-friendly materials specified can be made from recycled materials that may include metal, glass or aluminum. Any material that is biodegradable will break down on its own through natural decomposition, which reduces the amount of garbage added into a landfill.”http://www.examiner.com/article/eco-friendly-interior-design-examined

4 March 2013Today i met my supervisor to fill in the survey that was given. And after that we have talked about what i should do with my product because for me it is far too late to do a small model which i have to create all the furnitures within it using eco friendly materials, with that idea the scale of it is also pretty big which makes it hard for me to do. A few days ago ms.Gavin said that i could make an Ibook instead. I started to like the idea so i discussed it with Ms.Yulia but, i don’t think she agrees with me doing so because its quite different from what we have planned. But i think right now i should go with what i can and what i want to do, and i think an Ibook would be quite interesting, and yes i agree that is like taking the easy way out but i want this Ibook to be a good help, i want it to be a successful book for all. I was thinking on creating an Ibook to create awareness about the environment. Teens are my main target for this book, as a teen we have been told about our environment, we have been thought about the goods and bad that we are capable of, and with that we have always thought of the things we could do to make our earth a better place but really, what can a teen do that can be a drastic change to our community and environment. Well, one of the ways is to have an Eco-friendly bedroom and with the Ibook that i will be making, it would be an easy guide to fabricating your room to eco-friendly!.

5 March 2013My new and improved Goals are1. Go for 20! One of my goal is to reach 20 pages in my Ibook. I want it to look presentable and a unique easy to read Ibook. I have changed my product for sometime and this is my final idea which is an Ibook. It is really important for me to make my Ibook superb.

2. Go Public I want to create a successful Ibook inspiring students even parents to help the environment by fabricating their bedrooms eco-friendly by giving them tips on what materials should they find and what are the best kinds. I want to make it easier for the readers to understand and make them feel that today, going green isn’t as hard as you think. I really want to put my Ibook into the Itunes store and hoping for 20 readers and downloads!

3. 28 CommentsI want a minimum of 28 comments on my exhibition about my product or my topic. So, it is very important for me to attract people to head on to my booth. In the exhibition i would

Page 12: Sally's PP Journal

like them to be amazed and to see that as students we can have such a big impact to help the environment and a great choice is by simply fabricating your bedroom eco-friendly.

4. Creative BoothSince my Personal Project have a connection with Interior Designer it would only be ideal that i would have a nice booth. I set this as a goal because i think it is very important to attract people to come to my booth, not just that but it is also very important to have a great background on interior design. Having to show that I have quite a knowledge on Interior design it would make the viewership have more confidence about my Personal Project.

5. Confident and easily spokenIt is very important for me to deliver my visions and my hard work to the viewership. Having confident and to talk clear while being interactive is one of the way i would like to give to the viewership. This will help me both persuade and inspire others to look and my Ibook and take in the great importance on helping the environment by fabricating your bedroom eco-friendly.

10 March 2013Ibook Planning! So i started to write things down on my little note book of what should i put in my Ibook.

Well to start of i have listed down list of titles for my Ibook and this is my top three!Tittle: • A guide to Fabricating your bedroom Eco-friendly [For Teens]• An Easy guide to Fabricating your bedroom to Eco!• Transforming your bedroom to Eco-friendly• Create your own Eco-friendly bedroom! [a fun way to go Green! Teen Style]

Introduction‣ Why choose green‣ What is Eco-friendly (benefits!)‣ How can we as students help the environment

Designing your BedroomIn this Chapter i want to talk about the best way to start designing your bedroom. I would like to talk about placing your furnitures by thinking about the best location to put it in. Not just that i will also be showing a small design of my own. I have made a design on my new bedroom, I have decided to do this because i think it would be fun for the readers to see a little example of a fully designed room. I think it would also be quite unique and fun to add about my personal situation to great a better bond with the readers.

Get CreativeA twist to your room! Great way to be unique by creating your own fun and interesting thing to spice up your room. I have found such great and inspiring videos on how to do it and also pictures.

20 March 2013So i have finally started to make my Ibook and i’m actually starting to feel the nervousness that PP exhibition is one more month-ish! I am super panicking because i have just started to make my product now! I really regret this decision and really regret changing my topic first of all and also the product in short notice while being so close to the due date. So i have planned to have my Ibook in a ‘cork’ kind of theme, it would be quite girly because i really enjoy making girly books. So far today i have made the cover of my Ibook, i know its not much and Im still not so sure if i like it but this is what i have so far.

Page 14: Sally's PP Journal

24 March 2013Started to add the researches into my Ibook! I started to make the chapter about Going Green. While doing researches i was able to create a fun way to do it and every chapter i would like to have a little similarities. I now have a better plan to have all the background to be corks because i find it super cute and it is also eco-friendly!.

Page 15: Sally's PP Journal

4 April 201311 MORE DAYS TO GET IT DONE! SCARED! Today was very productive to me because i started to make my previous Chapter (Going green) much more easy on the eyes! Creating some small foot print to make it more attractive and basically decorating the page. I also added a little fun 3D Earth Diagram from Sketch where we could play with it on our Ipad by turning it around, i think this is a great way to start a book! Thanks to IT class this year I have learned a lot of things about the IBook yey!. I also started to make my second Chapter which is ‘Designing your Bedroom’ Here i have talked about my personal experience on my next bedroom design. i have also kept in mind about Tante Fifi’s and My Aunty Yvonne’s interview on this specific chapter. In this chapter i have created a little list on what we should be thinking first and how to design your bedroom such as the best way to sketch is your big furnitures.

7 April 2013Today i have emailed my super visor about my PP product. I have sent her my Ibook Planning (can see on 10 March 2013 post). She have replied kind of late but she have asked for us to meet because she felt like she doesn’t know much about my Product. This made me quite sad because i haven’t seen my supervisor for awhile but i have explained on what i will be doing and i really want her to be on the same chapter as i am. I have sent her my plan because i needed a little support and i asked her what should i improve and what should i add. Hopefully when we meet i can get a little feedback from her.

Page 16: Sally's PP Journal

9 April 2013Continuing my product i have made it more fun and have added more pages. Today i have also focused on my Goal number 4 ‘Creative Booth’ I want to have a nice and attractive booth. I have chosen a really nice corner location where my wall is ready for my push pins! Which means i don’t need that really easily knocked down “push pin wall’s”. I decide that i will bring my own chair to the booth and i would bring my fluffy pillow to add a little cuteness. Im planning to make a big banner that have my AOI information and my topic question. I would have one table and i would have and Ipad and my laptop on it. I still haven’t decide on what color i would like to have i was thinking about either pink or purple. I have made my banner as well today and i have decided that it was going to be purple. This is what my banner design looks like. I have used Keynote to do this then edited in Photoshop so when i print the banner the picture wont break as much because i stretch it. Since Mr.Gavin said i still have to make posters i decided that my banner would be simple and the posters then would have the rest of the information.

12 April 2013I looked for my super visor again today since yesterday we have planned to meet but sadly she was absent and turns out she is also absent today. Today was my last day to see my supervisor and im really sad. I don’t really know what to do at this point because i’m really panicking, i haven’t really connected with my supervisor that much and really don’t want this to effect my criteria of “Communication and Collaboration with the supervisor’ I’m really scared this will effect on my score for this. I am still quite scared because with the email between me and my supervisor it seems like she is very lost with my Product which i was planning to re-explain today. I have explained and talked to her about creating the Ibook although she wasn’t very amused but today i was planning to show her what my Ibook look so far and perhaps what i could add to it to make it superb. Thus, i guess i’m alone from now which makes me even more scared! Today late at night i have continued and have finished my Ibook! WIEWHHHH!!! WHAT A RELIEF! lets go EXHIBITION!

13 April 2013Go to school for the first time to set up the booth. I didn’t bring much today, i bought my Chair. I have bought my banner with me, my posters and also my table accessories.

14 April 2013Day two of setting up the booth. Final day to set up the booth! I decided to have an IMac on my desk to make it more full and also to have my Journal on display. I have cut my topic questions and double tape them on to the push pin walls and i have also bought these little flowers to add a little funk. I like my little purplish corner! Here is what it looks like! YEEEY

15 April 2013MOMENT OF TRUTH! I have to say today i am quite proud of myself! I was definitely confident and i have truly spoken smoothly about my Personal Project. There was a lot of people who have came to my Booth! YEY! One ticked off the list (of goals)! I was very interactive and have explained about my Personal Project in a preeminent detail! tapping my shoulders through out the night! I already have such great comments from teachers and parents, i am very ecstatic. Everything went better than i have planned, i am much more confident now and im sure tomorrow i will be too.

16 April 2013SECOND DAY OF PP EXHIBITION! oh the relief feeling that its over! But then... I realize that its not! WRITTEN STATEMENT IS NEXT! Anyways, today i have gathered a lot of people to come to my booth. I have really enjoyed these past 2 days of exhibition and i couldn’t be happier with myself when i read the comments that people are actually inspired by what i had to say. I think i have really reached my goal on having to speak clearly and have given them information in a wide rage. The amount of research i have done have really truly been worth it because i am able to answer all the questions the viewership have had and i believe they were pretty pleased. I was really happy when Wisung’s Mother have told him that my Personal project exhibition was her favorite because of my fifth goal! YEY! that put a really big smile on my face. I have counted all the comments and i have 34 comments so far! and they are all so kind! I am quite disappointed that my supervisor did not come to my booth on both days. I was really hoping for her to come and see my work and booth.

Go for 20! ✓Go public ✗28 comments ✓Creative booth ✓Confident and easily spoken ✓

I have reached 4 goals but sadly I did not go public with my Ibook because i ran out of time which was very disappointing. I personally wasn’t very confident to publish it because my Ibook isn’t as great as i had in mind, but i am proud of myself but i don’t feel like it reached a certain level to be published. Achieving the rest of my goals wasn’t as hard but it was time consuming. Having a creative booth wasn’t as hard because i have had cute accessories that was DIY and i always like accessories so i just had to bring them. I have bought lots of colorful post its and it really helped me with the decorations as well. It was used a lot since i have received 34 comments! which is more than i have expected. From the exhibition the viewership was pretty engaged to what i have to say and they keep asking me questions which was really good because it shows me that they are really interested. I have also got a lot of great feedbacks that they saw that i was passionate

about my Personal Project and i am very pleased to hear from them that i have done a great job.
