Welcome to Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. This large
teaching hospital has around 900 beds and about 4200 staff.
The Trust provides local services for Salford people and
patients travel from other parts of the North West and
indeed the UK for treatment thanks to the specialist services
available. The Hospital has a shopping mall, The Plaza,
offering a wide range of goods for sale and several areas
for refreshments.
Inside each of the main entrances there is a large version
of this map and a list of departments. The Hospital is
divided into coloured areas. Make your way to the area for
the department you want. Departments are signposted once
you are in an area. There are telephones by the maps at the
entrances. If you have a problem, dial the number stated
using the wall phone to the right and an operator will give
you directions. There are smaller versions of the large maps
on corridors to help you find your way around.
We are a no smoking hospital. Smoking is no longer allowed
anywhere in the hospital grounds or buildings.
