• Antenna requires now less space and is a robust solution. Easy to install,

• Issue:

• Antenna for Truck which shall support WiFi, GPS and LTE 450 MHz. Will

be installed afterwards by local Volvo truck service.

• Alternative solution:

• Separate antennas for each band

• Chosen product:

• LPCA 4 + 5 meters extension cables with Fakra/FME-connectors

• Result:

• Only one antenna and extension cables with chosen connectors needs to

be installed. Installation is much easier comparing to few separate

antennas. Due to this also time saving has been achieved.

Vid en utmatad effekt på 2,0 Watt från radions sändare skapar en 5 meter lång kabel (TGG5000) en

dämpning av effekten på ca 45% (eller 0,9 Watt).

Lutar en kolinjär antenn 30% från lodlinjen minskas återstoden av effekten med ca 75%.

2,0 – (2,0 x 45:100) = 100 (effekt efter dämpning i kabeln).

1,1 – (1,1 x 75:100) 0,28 (effekt pga lutande antenn)

Resultat: Den utmatande effekten på 2,0 Watt reduceras till 0,28 Watt.
