BISHOP DAVID J. WALKOWIAK ASKS US TO

PRAY FOR OUR SEMINARIANS

Loving God, Raise up dedicated leaders who will shepherd your people and guide them to your Son. Give generous and willing hearts to the seminarians of our Diocese who have heard your call to live a life of service to the Church. Help us to encourage and support them as they strive to become priests who are models of discipleship, possessors of wis-dom and on fire with love for your people. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

We especially pray for: Andrew Ayers

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR BULLETIN!

A Thank You from Fr. Dan Dear St. Michael and St. Mary Parishioners, I would like to express my many thanks to all of you who have prayed for and supported me on this journey towards priesthood. Thank you also to the choir who put in a great amount of practice to learn some new music in a short amount of time for my Mass of Thanksgiving and also to the Knights of Columbus Council #9909 for putting on the reception afterwards. You all have played an important part in my growth as a Christian and as a human being. As Archbishop Cupich (Archbishop of Chica-go) has said many times to seminarians, "We all come from a family, you come from a family! Never forget that." St. Michael's has been my home parish since 1995, St. Michael's is my family and who I am as a person, and now as a priest, is due to your example of Christian faith, charity, and ser-vice. Since our two parishes clustered a few years ago, St. Mary has become a part of my family as well. While I have never been a parishioner there, I have certainly experienced a very warm welcome, especially during these last few years and have come to think of St. Mary as a second home. Again, words cannot fully express the depth of my gratitude to all of you. Please continue to pray for me in my ministry at the Ba-silica of St. Adalbert, St. Mary Parish, and West Catholic High School. Also, know that I will continue to pray for you all! Peace of Christ, Fr Dan Schumaker

Thanks to all who worked at the Berlin Fair Gates this weekend!
