Good Bye, Kristi Kristi Bivens is leaving our parish for a new job with the

Diocese of St. Cloud. Her last day of work will be

Wednesday, June 20th. Please join us on Thursday, June

21st from 4:00-6:00pm in the school cafeteria as we join

to congratulate Kristi and say goodbye with cake & re-

freshments.

Wine and Women Social Postponed The Wine and Women Social scheduled for June 20 has been

postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

GRAVE MATTER It’s a grave matter. We have a problem at the cemetery

with plants and artifacts that make it difficult to mow.

Please keep all plants and other items on the concrete

base or attached to the monuments. Our area is very

windy and many of the items blow around. All flowers

and artifacts that are not attached to the

base will be removed by June 15. We store

some of the items in the shed and some

behind the shed if you would like to re-

trieve them. Thank you for your coopera-

tion.

Dear Parishioners of St. Mary’s and St. Thomas, As Fr. Joe announced last weekend, I have accepted a

position with the Diocese of St. Cloud. My last day in

the office will be Wednesday, June 20.

It has been an absolute joy to serve your communities

these last 10 years and I will miss all of you. I am grate-

ful to all of you for your support and prayers. Please

know St. Mary’s and St. Thomas will continue to be in

my prayers.

Congratulations, Fr. Stan! Fr. Stan Wieser is celebrating his 50th anniversary in

the priesthood with a special Mass on Sunday, June 24

at 2:00pm in Ave Maria Church, Wheaton. There will

be a reception following until 5:00pm. All are wel-

Mass servers from St. Mary’s & St. Thomas enjoyed a Twin’s

game on Thursday, June 7. We would like to say thank you to

our 6th through 12th grade Youth Group members and all

who helped with serving Mass at St. Mary’s and St. Thomas. It

Spiritual Opportunities

Eucharistic Adoration Eucharistic Adoration is held in St. Mary’s Church on Wednesdays from 8:00am-4:00pm.

Studying the Sunday Scriptures Mondays at 1:00 pm we gather at LeMar Photography, Wahpeton, to reflect upon the Scripture readings for the up-

coming Sunday. This is a great way to have a better understanding of the Sunday Scriptures before you hear them at

Mass. You do not need to register or to have attended before. We will be meeting again on Monday, June 18.

Youth News • Twenty students from St. Mary’s & St Thomas are going to Catholic Heart Work Camp this sum-
