As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.(John 13:34) It is easy to love someone when they love you back. But it takes strength and courage to love someone when we feel unappreciated, used, or feel our opinion doesn’t matter. It takes courage to “love my neighbor” when he may be someone I don’t like, someone I don’t know, or someone that doesn’t look like me. Neglected Saints: Men and Women We Can’t Forget Tuesday, May 21 st , 2019 at 6:30 PM in St. Ann’s Church 652 Main St. North Oxford, MA Presented by Jaclyn Green, who recently graduated from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine with a BA in Theology. Our Church is a diverse, multi-cultural communion of people from all over the world. We are a union of languages, cultures and races, and everyone has a story to tell. However, as Fr. Cyprian Davis wrote in his famed book, The History of Black Catholics in the United States, “…too often the presence of black Catholics through the centuries has been a muted one, a silent witness, an unspoken testimony.” This presentation will tell the stories of some of these incredible heroes of faith, celebrate the lives of four exceptional black saints, and emphasize the importance of every voice, every story being heard. St. Louis League of Catholic Women Once again, The League will be conducting its annual Spring Raffle. We will be repeating the “Cracker Barrel Rocker” raffle, due to its popularity. The chair is valued at $170.00 and will include a beautiful handmade shawl. Tickets will be sold after Masses through next weekend, May 25 th /26 th . Fifth Sunday of Easter

“I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.” (John 13:34) It is easy to love someone when they love you back.
