Welcome to Saint Joseph’s Church Thank you for joining with us as we celebrate the Eucharist. We are happy that you gather with us to-day, especially if you are visiting. Our prayer is that you will find the nourishment for your faith in this beautiful house of God.

As we begin the beautiful season of Advent we prepare for the coming Jesus Christ in the flesh!

What a wonderful time for us to prepare spiritually. Regular Mass attendance each Sunday is so important for our spiritual lives.

In addition to Sunday Mass you might want to come to a daily Mass during the season of Advent. Daily Mass is offered Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am & 9:00am and 8:00am on Saturdays.

In addition to the opportunity for the Sacrament of Penance on Saturdays from 4:00-4:45 pm in the Church, Confession is available on Monday, December 17th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. This is the “Reconciliation Monday “that will be celebrated throughout the whole Archdiocese. A priest will be available for Confession in the Church during these times.

Confessions will also be available on Tuesday, December 18th & Wednesday December 19th at 9:30 AM in the Confessional in the Daily Mass Chapel.

May this season of grace be a time of blessing and peace to you and your families. Let us all prepare well for coming of Jesus into our world, our lives and our hearts.

A Blessed Advent to you all!! God’s Blessings, Fr. Lagiovane

From the Desk of Fr. Lagiovane

As we conclude our Renew & Rebuild Campaign I cannot begin to express my gratitude to those who were able to support the Campaign. The monies we collect will go to the paying down of our existing loan.

I want to thank all of our parishioners who continue to support our parish each week. I want to thank all of those who supported our Mega Raffle as well.

I know with the Renew & Rebuild Campaign it has been an extra sacrifice. Your generosity does not go un-noticed and is very much appreciated.

As we move into the Advent and Christmas Season your generosity for our Christmas Collection is extremely important in assisting us meet our monthly expenses.

It should be noted that our Christmas & Easter Collections as with our weekday and special Parish collections are monies that remain in our parish unlike the Renew & Rebuild Campaign in which the Archdiocese re-ceives 26 %.

Several people have asked me to explain this point as you make your donations to the parish.

He later worked as vocations director, and since 2013, works on the Cause for Sainthood for Fr. Thomas Frederick Price and Bishop James A. Walsh, Co-founders of Maryknoll. In 2015, he was appointed the U.S. Superior of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, and lives at their headquarters in Ossining, NY.
