“Resolutions: If they are only

"illusions"...where is the wisdom in that?”

Resolve to make changes within yourself,

so that your heart and mind may be transformed, and you may

be drawn closer to God.

Holy Day of Obligation

Reminder

The Solemnity of Mary,

Mother of God is a Holy

Day of Obligation. On

this holy feast day, we

take a moment as we

start our new year to

honor our Blessed

Mother, who in her

“yes” to God brought

our Savior into the

world to redeem us. We

have two options for

Mass.

Tuesday, December 31st,

6:00pm

Wednesday, January 1st and

10:00am

Office Hours & Daily Mass

Next week the office will be closed on Tuesday,

Wednesday, and Thursday. The only daily Mass offered

next week will be on Monday at Noon.

Knights of Columbus Officer Meeting

The monthly Knights of Columbus officer

meeting has been moved up a day to Monday,

December 30th this month.

Devotional Candles

Devotional Candles will from now on be available

to purchase after all Mass during the 1st and 2nd

full weekend of the month.

New Ushers Needed

for our 11:00am Sunday Mass. Please contact Joe Porras

at 438-6257 for more information.

Journey of Faith

Journey of Faith classes

will resume Monday,

January, 13th.

The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph

On this day for the last time in the cycle of the liturgical

year, the Church invites us to contemplate the mystery of

Jesus’ humble, hidden life. A feeling of close intimacy and

tenderness characterizes this Feast and is expressed in

the liturgy of the day. It is good for us to recall the little

home at Nazareth and the humble life of those who lived

there. In it, Jesus learned

Joseph’s humble trade,

and grew in age, and was

happy sharing the work of

a carpenter. (Dan Burke,

catholicexchange.com)

Confession & Eucharistic Adoration

On Saturday, January 4th at 4:00pm, we

will have confession and Eucharistic

adoration available for everyone. It will be a

peaceful and cleansing way to start 2020.

Mark your calendars to join us every 1st

Saturday of the month for this holy time.

Children's Nativity Play Volunteers

Thank you to all the volunteers who help us pull off a

beautiful and fun nativity play with our youth faith

formation kids. Special acknowledgment goes

to Mary Morris, Kayleigh Ariaz, David Ariaz, Leo

Guerrero, Susan Miller, Belinda Martinez,

Myrna Porras, and Nancy Sanchez.
