We are collecting new socks for men and
women, all colors, sizes and styles (no ankle
socks please). This sock collection will be
on-going from February 1st through February

Mary, St. Philip, and St. James. Please help us to fill them
all so we can be sure everyone has warm feet in this cold
weather.
STEWARDSHIP NOTE FOR THE
5th Sunday in Ordinary Time
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, „Whom shall I
send? Who will go for us?‟ „Here I am,‟ I said, „send
me!‟” (Isaiah 6:8) Every day, in little ways and in big
ways, God asks, “Whom shall I send?” Whether it is
someone to take on a new ministry, to give a friendly smile
to a stranger or say a word of encouragement to a friend,
God constantly provides opportunities to help someone in
need. The next time you hear God calling, have the courage
to walk through the door and say “Here I am, Lord.”

WORLD MARRIAGE DAY FEBRUARY 10
PRAYER FOR MARRIED COUPLES
Almighty and eternal God, You blessed the union of
married couples so that they might reflect the union of
Christ with his Church: look with kindness on them. Renew
their marriage covenant, increase your love in them, and
strengthen their bond of peace so that, with their children,
they may always rejoice in the gift of your blessing. We ask
this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
HELP NEEDED, PLEASE
If there is anyone who can spare a few hours every other
week, help is needed to wash and iron the church laundry.
It amounts to one load of laundry and simple ironing of the
linens used during Masses. If you are interested, please call
Celeste in the parish office.
