CATHOLIC CHURCH
Saint Clare
WELCOME
A warm welcome to all who have come to worship with us. If you are visiting, we are honored by your presence.
If you are interested in becoming a member, please call the rectory. Our Parish serves the needs of this
community in many ways. We offer preparation for Sacraments, education for children and adults, social activities,
assistance to those in difficulty, comfort to the sick and those who mourn a loss.
If we can be of service, please let us know.
For your convenience, we have blue “Let Us Know” Cards in back of church.

PARISH NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
If you didn’t sign a ACA Pledge
Card, please take a few
moments to sign a card found in
back of church whether you can
donate or not this year.
Thank you!
Picnic Volunteers Needed
Our annual picnic is scheduled for Saturday,
August 18th. Our next meeting is July 11th at
6:30 pm in the school cafeteria.
Volunteers are needed for chairpersons and
workers, especially in the kitchen and dining
area. If you can volunteer, please call the
parish office at 629-0315.
Also, looking for items for themed gift baskets,
such as baby items, children’s books/toys, pet
care, etc. Please drop the donations off in
back of church.
WANTED LECTORS AND EUCHARISTIC
MINISTERS!!!
We have 306 families registered in our parish
and we would love to have more people
involved in these 2 ministries. It is a special
privilege to be able to proclaim the Word of
God and give out the Blood of Christ. Please
pray about these opportunities to serve at
church!
We have a great need for new volunteers
and we will work with your schedule. If you
can only serve once a month that will lighten
the schedule for others. Most families
regularly attend the same Mass time and we
can make that available to you if you let us
know. Volunteers must be confirmed to be a
Lector and 18 years of age to serve as
Eucharistic Minister.
Many are reluctant because they feel
nervous about getting in front of others,
which is normal, but what is more important
than proclaiming the Good News or offering
the cup of the Blood?? If interested, please
call the office at 629-0315 or Joyce Willis at
629-2573 and leave a message!
Thank
You!!
As a thank you for their support and
generosity, the students of St. Clare School
presented the family of Harley Hedge with a
certificate from the International Star
Registry. Now, we can all look up at the
night sky and know there is not only a
beautiful angel but also a star named Harley.
We are grateful for the Harley Hedge
Scholarship which has helped many families at
St. Clare Catholic School with tuition.
Please remember Fr. William and his Mission
Appeal to help the people of the Archdiocese of
Tororo. If you would like to contribute, please
place your offering in a marked envelope in the
offertory basket at Mass. Checks may be made
payable to St. Clare Catholic Church.
During June, messages will be picked up at school
and answered in a timely manner. After June
30th, please direct calls to the rectory.

his feet.”
- ACTS 13:25
Stewardship is a lifestyle, it’s not a
program or a process. It’s how we are
called to live our lives twenty-four hours
a day, seven days a week! It
challenges us to live “God-centered”
lives, not “self-centered” lives. Reflect on
your daily activities, do you do them for
the glory of God or for the glory of your
own name?
