SACRAMENT of BAPTISM �Available to active, that is, regularly attending, registered parishioners by pre�arrangement. A baptismal preparation class is offered quarterly and is required to highlight the parents’ sacred commitment to practicing the Catholic faith, to familiarize them with the Rite of Baptism, and to instruct them on god parental requirements so that they can serve as fitting role models and good examples of the practice of the Catholic faith for the newly baptized.�

SACRAMENT of MATRIMONY �Engaged couples, one of whom must be an active, registered, parishioner, should contact the Parish Office at least six months in advance of the intended wedding; a date should not be set before this contact. Pre�marriage formation is required to prepare for this serious, life�long commitment.�

OFFERTORY COLLECTION � This weekend, June 9/10, there will be a regular collection only. Next weekend, June 16/17, there will be a second collection for the new roof fund. ��

THE SANCTUARY CANDLE acknowledging the Real Presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament resident in the tabernacle is burning this week in loving memory of Pete & Helen Faletto by family. Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar!��

THANK YOU � A big thank you to all who made the Old Fashion Chicken Dinner held on May 20 a success. Our parish is grateful to Dave Davis and his family along with Jeff Weaver, Eric & Lisa Wigginton for taking the initiative to organize, cook, and serve for the event. Our parish roof fund grew by another $584.00 because of all who supported the Chicken Dinner.�

ORDINATION OF DEACON DANIEL CARR TO PRE-ISTHOOD JUNE 30. Bishop Edward C. Malesic has called Deacon Daniel E. Carr to the responsibility of the presbyterate. The priesthood ordination will be celebrated Saturday, June 30, at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Please keep Deacon Carr in your prayers and continue to pray for all people discerning God’s call to the priesthood.��

MEMORIAL MASS � The third annual Memorial Mass for Miscarriage, Stillbirth, Infant or Child Loss will be celebrated July 25 at 6 p.m. at Holy Family Parish, Latrobe.��

ST. JOHN’S FIRE CELEBRATION The Diocesan Heritage Center and Knights of Malta will host a St. John’s Fire Celebra-tion June 24, the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Bap-tist, at the Bishop Connare Center at 7 p.m. The event features guest chef Josh Ross of Pirata in Pittsburgh and the Cooking Channel.
