The Goal
• To see how when students create their own work they are more engaged and have a greater understanding of what they are suppose to learn.
• To actively participate with the group in regards to editing and uploading a video into Safari.
• To integrate technology into your classroom teaching practice in a meaningful way for your students.
• To become more proficient in video integration.
You will be making a 3-5 minute video
Divide into groups of no more than 4…(Facilitator will help with this)
1. How do you plan on using Safari in your classroom?
2. How can student created videos create understanding and interest?
3. How do you keep a positive attitude when the Akron Public Schools has issues with computers, projectors and network?
4. What are your next steps with Safari next week, next month, next semester?
5. Do students need to view and learn from video clips in order to have successful education?
6. How do you foresee classroom management and strategies changing as you use more technology?
