Currently our parish has received $36,640 to meet our goal of $66,747.00. It is important to remember that once our parish reaches its target goal, we will receive 100% of all the funds raised over our goal. REMINDER-50/50 RAFFLE TO SUP-PORT SACRED HEART PARISH-Envelopes will now be located in the vestibule of the Church. All it takes is $5.00 and you could be a winner. The Sacred Heart Food Pantry is open again and has been very busy the past two weeks! We are in need of cereal, tuna, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter and jel-ly, cookies, coffee and tea just to keep up with the number of families and individuals we assist. Your generosity is a blessing.

Today is Catechetical Sunday. We will celebrate all of our catechists at the 9:30 Mass. Yeah, we have completed our first full week of school. This week we begin Pizza Mondays. Also our new Hot Lunch Program will begin. Lunches are pre-ordered monthly and served on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning on September 19th. In addition pretzel sales will begin on Wednesday and these will also be pre-ordered on a monthly basis as well. Ice cream sales begin on Friday and they will be handled in the same way they always were. Students may bring their money on Friday and choose their ice cream. The Kids Stuff Coupon Book Sale begins on Monday. You can purchase this book that’s filled with useful cou-pons that provide discounts and savings that are worth-while for the whole family. Students participating in the Paul Effman after-school band program must return their forms by Wednesday, Sep-tember 20th. Thursday is our first paid Dress Down Day of the year. Students in grades Kindergarten through eighth may par-ticipate. Mrs. Laura Ciraolo, director of Faith Formation will be providing Virtus training on Thursday, September 20th at 7:00 pm.
