FEAST OF STO. NIÑO AND SINULOG This Sunday, January 19, 2020, 5:30PM at

Sacred Heart Cathedral. The Filipino Cana-

dian community of Prince George will gather

for a Eucharistic Celebration honoring Señor

    Santo Niño.

Devotion to Señor Santo Niño (Child Jesus)

is very popular in the Philippines. Devotees living in

Prince George, invite parishioners to join them in honoring

the Child Jesus. Sinulog is a ritual prayer-dance honoring

Señor Santo Niño. Following Mass, there will be a dinner

and reception at Sacred Heart School gym hosted by the

    Bisaya group. All are welcome.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is celebrated around the world on

    January 18-25.

This universal week of prayer encourages Christians of all denominations

to meet, to participate in various liturgical and other community activities,

and pray together that all may be one, as Christ desires.
