PILGRIMAGE TO THE SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE
Bus Trip-Saturday. October 20th
Come pray and pilgrimage with your St. Thomas and St. Joseph’s family on October 20th, see the beautiful Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the majestic hills of LaCrosse. Learn about the miracle apparition to Juan Diego in 1531 that caused the instant conversion of over 6 million Mexican Aztecs. The 100-acre grounds also include a visitors' center and outdoor devotional areas such as a rosary walk, Stations of the Cross, and a votive candle chapel, as well as the Memorial to the Unborn. Please sign up for the event now until October 6th. De-parture time is 8:00 am return around 6:00 pm. Transportation will be on a coach bus. The trip costs are completely covered and anyone is welcome. Lunch is included please note your preference of a Subway sandwich; turkey or ham..

If you will be celebrating a “landmark” anniversary (25th 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, 55th, 60t, and over) and would like to be recognized, please call or e-mail the church office with your anniversary date.

St Thomas Parish-Wide Bake Sale
A parish wide bake sale will be held next Saturday and Sunday, October 6th & 7th.

Each Sunday during the month of September, please bring items for the Rio Food Pantry and place in the boxes provided in the entry of the church. Please donate non-perishable food items. Some of the most needed/most used food items are: Macaroni & Cheese, Jelly, Pork n Beans, Pancake Mix, Pancake Syrup, Cake Mixes, Cereal (please no Cheerios), Spa-ghettios and Ravioli. As always, check to make sure your donated items are not expired items.
