Sacosa de Panza is a complex project aiming to offer individuals an eco friendly alternative to the plastic bags -the textile bag.

produced in a workshop based on environmental friendly principles and involving persons in major difficulty.

the sustainable development principles. In this idea we will use local resources and we will use the bags to conduct educational campaigns.

end of the year 2009� to have a functional workshop with 3 employees –
persons in major difficulty� to have our first orders and start generating
money� to use local natural materials� to have 0 waste from the production process� to reach 3000 people with our educational
message

� June – August – planning and gathering of resources
� 7th September – start the production of textile bags in the workshop with 2 employees
� October - delivered our first order of bags� November increased the number of
employees to 3 in the workshop and 3 working from home

� 3100 natural textile bags produced and distributed
� use local materials – the cotton is broth from the closest place, Turciaand the fabric is produced in Romania

models of bags� Big organic cotton bag – 15 lei� Medium organic cotton bag – 13 lei� Small organic cotton bag – 11 lei
This products helped us reach the following economic results…

23.100 lei a grant from The Body Shop Foundation and 43.370 lei from sales of textile bags
� we managed to cover all the expenses made until December in total of 48.337 lei
� we recovered the initial investments of 2.998 lei
