Why We Need SABA School & Community Center in Fremont?

● A large number of our members live in/around Fremont that need our Services

● Fremont has a large Muslim population and growing – need more schools● Their children need Islamic Schools to preserve religious/cultural teachings and values● We have 3 schools in Fremont with 300 students but need is around 2000-3000

● Need for organized activities for our youth to play, socialize, and get involved in healthy activities to grow as good and productive members of the society

● Space is needed to help our elderly living with their adult children● Need dedicated senior activity center and housing

● Fremont has a serious shortage of affordable housing for teachers & low income workers

Shia Association of Bay Area (SABA)

● SABA (501C3) Serving Silicon Valley Communities for ~50 years

● Currently running at three locations – San Jose, Campbell, Hayward

● Offering prayer services, social services and community building

● Offer programs in four languages

● RISE Academy – K-12 School with over 200 students

● Kisa Foundation – Publishing Books and Videos

● Global Services: Developing Schools in India, Pakistan, Iraq & Afghanistan

● Second Chance – Adult Education Programs specially in Prison System

● Inter-faith programs, Food/Blanket Drives & Community Services
