The University of Texas at Austin 40 Acres Scholarship (Seniors) Amount: Full-ride… a 4-year merit scholarship program covering tuition and fees, books, a living stipend, and additional funding for required enrichment activities, a service learning project after the freshman year, study abroad and research/internship. Students should be well rounded and have demonstrated extraordinary intellectual ability, breadth and depth of effective leadership experiences, initiative and perseverance, and social skills to interact easily with adults as well as peers. Desirable candidates: 1400 or higher on the SAT (CR+M) or 32 on the ACT, ranked in the top 5% of graduating class (These are recommended but not required.)
