• Sodium reacts vigorous(劇烈 ) with water.
• Potassium reacts vigorous with water.
• Iron reacts slowly with water.
• Therefore, sodium and potassium put into same group(group I).
• Iron puts into another group.
By their Chemical Properties(特性 )
2.Metals with hydrochloric acid
-Calcium
-Magnesium
-Copper
• Calcium reacts ___________ with hydrochloric acid.
• Magnesium reacts ____________ with hydrochloric acid.
• Copper has no reaction with hydrochloric acid.
• Therefore, calcium and magnesium put into same group(group II).
• Copper puts into another group.

Results:
