Today we begin a three-part series of themes for the service. The focus will be: Blessed Beyond Belief. This week we will ask: What is blessing? Next week: Why do we pray? And finally, “What is my belief? “Essentially, we will focus on the beatitudes, the Lord’s Prayer and the meaning of creeds. Hope you can join us in this exploration.

WICC You are invited to the 100th anniversary Brunch hosted by Women’s Inter-Church Council of Winnipeg. It’s being lead by Indigenous leaders and elders from Kenora in the Treaty Three area. The goal is to understand the history of Indigenous & non-Indigenous people in Canada. It’s held at West Hawk United Church at 10:30am on Saturday, Aug 18, 2018. Eden Foundation Eden has thanked us for our involvement in their organization and helping with the dreams for hope and healing for the community. They are having a Head for the Hills cycling fund-raiser on Saturday September 8th. Starting at Morden’s Colert Beach with two routes you can chose from.
