What to do:
During this time at home, many children have created rainbows for
their windows! You may have seen some when you go for a walk.
Famous children’s book illustrator Quentin Blake drew all of the illustrations for Roald Dahl’s stories.
He has created some pictures with rainbows in for people to send to their loved ones.
They spread the happiness of rainbows and turn them into different parts of people’s day. Check his pictures out below!
In Quentin Blake’s pictures, a rainbow is also:
● A quiet place to read● A kennel for a dog
● A hairstyle● A man’s moustache● Somewhere fun to play● A handbag
Your task:Create your own rainbows painting or drawing!
You can use one of Quentin’s ideas, or make up your own!
Upload a picture to the google classroom for your teacher to see.
