40 DAYS FOR LIFE CAMPAIGNThis campaign is made up of three components:  Prayer and fasting, constant vigil and community outreach.   Launched in Texas in 2004 it has spread internationally with 625,000 volunteers, 9,500 lives saved and 59 abortion centers closed. The local team is planning the campaign from February 18 through March 28.  Daily peaceful prayer vigils will be held from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on the public sidewalk outside Planned Parenthood, Pennacook St., Manchester.   Faithful believers are praying that these efforts will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our community. Hour captains are needed in order to ensure that all 40 days are covered in prayer.  All that is required is to commit to one or two hours and then invite 2 or 3 people per hour (family, friends and church members) to participate in a prayerful vigil.  Please call Joan 487-2752 for more information. Visit:  www.40daysforlife.com/Manchester and follow us on facebook or twitter.

THURSDAYS ON PENNACOOK STREETFor more information about how you can help save women and babies from abortion via the Pennacook Pregnancy Center, contact Cathy Kelley at 206-5306 or for details. Prayer volunteers from this parish and parishes from all over our Diocese pray outside the Planned Parenthood clinic in Manchester and offer assistance to women unsure about their decision to abort. These stories are their eyewitness accounts. There are 20 to 30 surgical abortions performed every Thursday. To learn more visit www.prayforlifecenter.org
