Davis Captured Officer Hutson Saturday captured Petit Davis the negro who last Sat ¬ urday night killed Ransom Miller in J this city Davis had been in hiding with rel ¬ atives near Montague since the kill ¬ ing of which fact the officers were apprised several days ago but were unable to catch him until yesterday I morning He did not trust himself- in I the home of the people with whom I he was stopping but slept in a barn near by and it was here Officer Hut son found him just betore daybreak I Davis was brought to the city and t lodged in the county jail He waived I preliminary trial and
