GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CLASS OF 2018
High School Graduation Requirements
24 credits
Pass Grade 10th ELA (or ACT /SAT concordant score)
Pass Algebra 1 EOC exam or earn Math PERT score of 97
Participate in EOC assessments for Geometry, Biology, Algebra 2 and U.S. History
2.0 cumulative unweighted grade point average (GPA)
At least one course must be completed online (FLVS) * Recommended course: Peer Counseling
Complete a community service project (recommended 100 hours)

4 Mathematics credits (must include Algebra I and Geometry)
3 Science credits (must include Biology and two equally rigorous courses)
3 Social Studies credits (World, History, U.S. History, and American Government & Economics)
1 Fine Art credit (any visual or performing art)
Personal Fitness (0.5 credit)
Physical Education (0.5 credit)
General Electives (8 credits): 2 years of same Foreign Language required for admission to State Universities, Bright Futures

CREDIT RECOVERY
Night School
Fall Term runs from September 8th until December 17th.
Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30 to 5:45P.M.
Classes offered: English I, II, III, Geometry, Algebra 2, Physical Science, Chemistry, World History and U.S. History.
Two classes maximum per year, no electives offered. Obtain registration letter from counselor.
Florida Virtual School
Register at http://flvs.net/ Only way to make up an elective credit or replace a
“D” in a course.
