Notice of Public Hearing
Pursuant to West Virginia Code 8A-7-5 the Mingo County Commis-sion will conduct the first of two (2) public hearings at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2011, to dis-cuss the proposed zoning of prop-erty in Mingo County. The hearing will take place in the Mingo County Circuit Courtroom, Room 214, in the Mingo County Courthouse, lo-cated at 75 East Second Avenue, Williamson, West Virginia. Both oral and written comment will be accepted from the public, with oral presentations being limited to five (5) minutes. Written objections to the proposed zoning ordinance may be made and will be heard at the hearing and must be filed with the clerk of the Mingo County Commission.
The hearing will address the adop-tion of a proposed zoning ordi-nance that will establish guidelines as to the future use of approxi-mately 15 miles of property lo-cated along the King Coal High-way from Taylorville, West Virginia to Twisted Gun Gap in Wharn-cliffe, West Virginia; the Mingo County Air Transportation Park situated on 973 acres near Var-ney, West Virginia and the Harless Wood Industrial Park situated on approximately 650 acres in Holden, West Virginia.
Copies of the proposed zoning or-dinance will be available for review two (2) weeks prior to the hearing at all Mingo County Public Library locations and the Mingo County Commission office, located in Room 137 of the Mingo County Courthouse.

Today’s Answers
HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Monday, June 20, 2011:
This year, you swing from detached to hands-on. You seem to understand the variables and what promotes one type of behavior rather than another. Be sure that most people you come into contact with do not. Your mysterious behavior can cause people to slowly open up. Try to understand rather than react. If you are single, building a good relation-ship could take time. You certainly will meet someone quite different. If you are attached, your sweetie might be taken aback by your changeabil-ity, but it certainly keeps life lively. PISCES pushes you into the limelight.
The Stars Show the Kind of Day You’ll Have: 5-Dynamic; 4-Positive; 3-Average; 2-So-so; 1-Difficult
ARIES (March 21-April 19) Use the daytime hours
to the max, when you seem to be in sync with your energy. Others might be contentious; you might be con-tentious as well. Somehow, through discussions, new answers come forward. Let others help find a resolu-tion. Tonight: Vanish.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) You could find that discor-
dant energy is the name of the game. How you handle a key issue might change radically because of others’ feedback. We gain greater depth and knowledge if we are open to discus-sion. Curb spending. Tonight: Only where you want to be.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) Keep reaching out for
those at a distance. You might not be able to find the right solution until you detach and get a better perspective. You could be frustrated with a boss’s or an authority figure’s demands. Your temper might not serve you. Tonight: Having fun.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) A partner might not be
whispering in your ear, but quite clearly this person has a strong opin-ion, which he or she might expect you to follow. Understand your limits, but do attempt to see how you can make this person’s request work. Tonight: Relax your mind with a favorite activ-ity.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) Others come to you early
in the day. You easily could feel angry before you have a chance to look at what is happening. Choose to defer a knee-jerk response. In the long
run, it will be better. Seek out others. Tonight: Think outside the box.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Anything is possible, as
long as you can remain relaxed and less dominant. Listen to news with a touch of skepticism. How you man-age a personal matter transforms as you get more and more involved in an unrelated issue. Tonight: Chat over dinner.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Get into a project early on
if you want to complete it early. You could be overwhelmed otherwise. Know where you are coming from with a child or key loved one. Stay centered, even if a situation becomes volatile. Tonight: Downtime.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Your domestic situation
needs attention, even if you just need time to reflect. The answers might not be easily forthcoming. Give yourself time. Get involved with a project, situation or event you love. Tonight: Head home after some fun.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) Don’t hold back, but on
the other hand, be diplomatic. You want your message heard, right? Then communicate it in the most effective manner, even if someone else is throwing a tantrum. Tonight: Try low-key.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) Do some reading if you are
debating a new purchase or another way to deal with your finances. You are best off not making any decisions just yet. Communication late in the afternoon probably will draw better results. Tonight: Think positively.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Use the daylight hours for
key projects and people. Someone might be trying to anger you. To this person, a strong reaction means you care. Do you really want to play into this thinking? Do you really want to communicate like this? Tonight: Buy a plant or another item you desire on the way home.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) Play the waiting game dur-
ing the day. You could get yourself into a situation that you would prefer not to be in otherwise. Late afternoon, you clear your mind and become more in sync with the moment. Tonight: Be yourself.
