Holiday Expo - The St. Mary PTO will once again have a booth at the Holiday Expo this year. This fun

filled festive event will be held at Rushville Elementary from 9a.m.-2p.m on November 9 . The PTO will be selling homemade baked goods, holiday crafts, gifts and decorations. Anyone wishing to donate a baked good or craft item can bring it to the school office on or be-fore 3p.m. on November 8. Liturgical Ministry Sign-Ups - Ever wonder how servers, lectors, and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion came to do the ministry they do at the weekend Masses? They said “yes” to serving the parish community. You are invited to volunteer for these ministries. Training sessions will be provided for each ministry. Altar Server is open to students 4th grade and up. Lector can be high school and up. Extraordinary Minister is open to fully initiated Cath-olics, (Baptism, First Communion, and Confirma-tion). All persons must be in good standing with the Church. Extraordinary Minister Training: Saturday, October 19 after the 5:30p.m. Mass. Sunday, October 20 after the 10:00a.m. Mass. New Servers Training: Saturday, November 2 after the 5:30p.m. Mass. New Lector Training: Thursday, November 7 at 6:30p.m. Registration forms can be found at all church en-trances and on the church website stmaryrush.org. Please return completed forms to the parish office or place in the Sunday collection basket. Questions can be directed to Father James.

St. Mary Adult Faith Formation - Fall 2019 All sessions are held at 7p.m. in the school multipurpose room. “Seven Deadly Sins, Seven Lively Virtues”. Structured around the famous epic poem “The Inferno” by Dante, Bishop Robert Barron looks at how the Seven Deadly Sins can be countered by the Seven Lively Virtues. Bishop Barron helps us find the right path to healing and happiness. October 23 - “Avarice and Generosity” October 30 - “Gluttony and Asceticism”
