MINISTRY PROJECTS.
ONE FAITH, ONE HOPE, ONE LOVE
The Archdiocese of Cincinnati has launched a capital campaign to raise $130 million toward securing and growing the vitality of its parishes, schools, social services, and other ministries for decades to come.
One Faith, One Hope, One Love is based on the positive results of a professional planning and feasibility study conducted in
2013. A “pilot phase” involving 13 parishes already has exceeded its goal.
Half of the total funds raised will go toward Catholic education, including $50 million to expand tuition assistance and $15 million for educational programming. The other half will be divided among four components: Local Parish Priorities (to be determined by each individual parish for its share); Fostering Vocations (including tuition assistance for seminarians); Caring for Retired Diocesan Priests; and Catholic Charities/Social Services, which serve the poor and vulner-able across Southwestern Ohio. A separate 501(c)3 organization, the Catholic Community Foundation, has been formed to oversee the funds and their distribution.
St. Margaret Mary and Assumption parishes will be participating as part of the third block of parishes being appealed to since the cam-paign officially launched in January 2015. Fr. Jerry has met with our representative from the Archdiocese and has been forming leadership teams for both parishes consisting of 7-8 people who will assist with the many tasks involved in implementing the campaign within our parishes.
You can expect to begin hearing about the campaign and receiv-ing appeal information within the next few weeks as the program proceeds.

ST. MM’S WINTER WEATHER POLICY FOR WEEKDAYS
With the onset of winter weather and the potential for morning snow and ice, safe travel to weekday Mass for both the priests and the members of the congregation is a concern. In order to keep the community safe during severe winter weather, the WEEKDAY morning Mass/Communion Services will be canceled whenever the Northwest School District school is canceled. This is the district that Our Lady of Grace school uses to determine school closure.

FOOD FOR ALL: BE MULTIPLIED
Inspired by Pope Francis’ call to action to end hunger by 2025, FOOD FOR ALL is an Archdi-ocesan effort to faithfully respond to hunger in our local neighborhoods. In the Miracle of the Feeding of the 5000, the disciples gave Jesus the little they had and he multiplied it to feed an impossible number of people. To end the problem of hunger in our Archdiocese, faith, even the size of a mustard seed can make the impossible, possible. More information about FOOD FOR ALL can be found at www.catholiccincinnati.org/foodforall.

STEPPING OUT FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
On August 9, a group of volunteers from St Margaret Mary Parish pre-pared and served brunch to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. The menu included made-to-order omelets, French toast, grilled cheese, sausage and hash browns.
Comments from our Facebook feed:
“Best part is how much the people there appreciate all the home cooked food...” George Hilleary
“You folks really are good people!” Frank Rieman
“This is awesome that you all went to help out. It is a great cause and so many families from out of town count on this. Thank you to all the volunteers!” Kathy Studer
