Stephanie‘s nominations were: Team and Client, in particular PPG - Subsea 7. There had been service challenges on this account in the last few months and Steph was asked to become a dedicated contact for this part of the business, which is very demanding and complex and it was going to be a challenge to move this forwards and would require strong resilience. Steph has been a travel consultant for a short time, however in that time has demonstrated her commitment to the role and worked 100% to make it work and worked especially hard with the key contact at PPG, Emily Carr. In the last month in particular Steph has received two commendations from Emily and more recently the below Recognition from Pam Robertson, Global Travel Supervisor at Subsea7 I was delighted to hear that Emily is happy with the service levels provided of late to PPG. Particularly I would also like to thank Steph for all her hard work and perseverance as I know it can be hard to turn things around in these situations however she deserves a commendation for this, I have always thought she had potential so it is fantastic that she has grown in confidence and is flourishing. He was with Munros and Travel Centre in Aberdeen. Then spent several years with Denholm World Travel. He was so successful that the office ran out of space and they moved into the current building, taking over two floors, Of course they now have the whole building. Gary has always had an interest in technology and was integral in setting up the first company database before working closely with Travelsystem to gradually develop our systems. In the 90's Gary initiated the work involved to get Ticket Window up and running, working closely with the software team to make it the very first self booking tool that actually worked in real time. He worked for many years to ensure that Ticket Window was rolled out across our clients. As Seaforths transformed into ATPI Gary took a leading role as one of the main directors, involving himself in technology, operations, fares and yield. He was just as likely to be found in London or Great Yarmouth as in Aberdeen. He always looked to technology to resolve issues and improve efficiency. He is a fully qualified aircraft pilot, often flying down from Aberdeen to Norwich in his own small aircraft. When you fly with him on scheduled flights it is always great to hear what he thinks is actually happening on the flight deck. He loves cars and has owned several Porsche and Mercedes as well and many others. He is probably wondering where the last 26 years have gone but he has left his mark, of that there is no doubt.
