These are the first words of the video presented at the Open house held during the MIAC show in October of last year.

Fabio Perini took this occasion to introduce a product featuring strongly innovative characteris-tics: the first finely-decorated glue-free bathroom roll, produced on the MILE 7.2 line. Decòr, this is the name of the “talking” roll protagonist of the

video that introduced itself to the customers present at the event and explained the novel-

ties that it embodies.

sealing system that can substantially reduce the use of glue in the finished product. And the Decòr package, too, is inspired by

the very same philosophy since it is designed to decorate the roll and the final tail without using a drop of glue. Decòr is based both on the Web-Tuck system that eliminates glue from pick-up, and on an advanced ply bonding system capable of bonding the plies and decorating their entire surface at the same time. The roll is sealed through the glue-less mechanical ply bonding system of the Tail Sealer model 563, and is enhanced by a spe-cial system that confers a customizable decoration

Sono queste le prime battute del corto presentato all’open house che si è tenuto durante il MIAC lo scorso

ottobre. La Fabio Perini ha colto l’occasione per presentare un prodotto dalle caratteristi-che fortemente innovative: il primo rotolino finemente decorato senza colla, realizzato con una linea MILE 7.2. Decòr, questo è il nome del rotolino “parlante” protagonista del video, si è presentato ai clienti intervenuti all’evento e ha spiegato loro le novità che lo riguardano.

FAbIO PERINI è sEmPRE PIù ImPEgNAtA sUL FRONtE dELL’EcOsOstENIbILItà, come di-mostrano gli investimenti in soluzioni all’a-vanguardia, come il web-tuck e la chiusura meccanica del lembo, in grado di ridurre sensibilmente l’utilizzo di colla nel prodotto finito. Anche il pacchetto Decòr è ispirato alla medesima filosofia, poiché è pensato per deco-rare rotolo e lembo di chiusura senza utilizzare una goccia di colla.Decòr si basa sia sul sistema web-tuck, che elimina la colla del pick up, sia su un avanza-to sistema di mollette capace di unire i veli e decorarne al tempo stesso l’intera superficie. La chiusura del rotolo, realizzata con la molletta-tura meccanica glue free dell’Incollatore 563, è impreziosita da uno speciale sistema che imprime un decoro personalizzabile sul lembo di chiusura del rotolo. Il tutto senza usare colla!

advantages connected to required maintenance. It is a well known fact that the use of glue in converting lines yields dirt which requires machine downtime for clean-ing. By eliminating the use of glue, downtimes are also drastically reduced and this is an important factor in bringing down production costs. As an example, when producing a Decòr roll on a line that converts about 15K tons of product per year, total glue consumption is reduced to about 95 tons per year. Like the Decòr roll itself says in the video, Fabio Perini has reached the objective of producing visibly different machines, while at the same time reducing their impact both on the environment and on production costs. In one phrase: products that yield “visibly more…with less!”. *

Fabio Perini ha messo a punto T.I.P. EULEROTM ROLLS, un sistema basato su una tecnologia che elimina quasi com-pletamente l’effetto flettente dei rulli gommati, dovuto alla pressione di goffratura del velo. Nei rulli tradizionali, infatti, la tendenza alla flessione viene parzialmente corretta creando un effetto bombé sulla gomma tuttavia, cambiando prodotto o pattern di goffratura cambiano anche le pressioni necessa-rie alla lavorazione. Ciò rende necessario intervenire anche sul valore del bombé sui rulli gommati per adattare il loro diverso grado di flessione. Il sistema T.I.P. EULEROTM ROLLS riduce quasi totalmente il valore di flessione anche con pressioni di esercizio fino a 50kg/cm lineari, compatibilmente con i limiti di carico e flessione del rullo acciaio. Il risultato è un NIP di goffratura assai più omogeneo e uniforme per tutta la larghezza del rullo. Grazie ai T.I.P. EULEROTM ROLLS si ottengono diversi vantaggi:- Uniformità: una goffratura di qualità uniforme su tutto il log.- Omogeneità: un NIP omogeneo e indipendente dalla pres-sione di esercizio. La flessione teorica si riduce infatti di oltre il 90% rispetto ai rulli gomma tradizionali.

Fabio Perini has created the T.I.P. EULEROTM ROLLS, a system based on a technology that almost completely eliminates the bending effect of rubber rolls due to the ply embossing pressure. In traditional rolls, the tendency to bend is partially corrected by creating a bombé effect on the rubber. However, when changing product or embossing pattern, the working pressures required change, too. This makes it necessary to act also on the value of the bombé on the rubber rolls in order to adapt their different degree of bending. The T.I.P. EULEROTM ROLLS almost completely reduces the bending value even with working pressures of up to 50 kg/linear cm, compatibly with the load and bending limits of the steel roll. The result is a substantially more homogeneous and uniform embossing NIP along the entire roll with.
