THE PEOPLE BELIEVED HIM AND REPENTED FROM THEIR EVIL WAYS. GOD DID NOT DESTROY THEIR CITY, SHOWING HIS MERCY FOR THOSE WHO SEE THE EVIL OF THEIR WAYS AND CORRECT IT. DAYS. THE PEOPLE BELIEVED HIM AND REPENTED FROM THEIR EVIL

The faculty of memory is truly powerful. It enables us to recall incidents in our lives that occurred many years ago. We remember family members who have died and who have returned home to the Lord. MARCH FOR LIFE 2018- January 19th in Washington , D.C. This is the 45th Anniversary of the passing of Roe v. Wade making abortion legal in this country. People from the Paterson Diocese will go to Washington to show solidarity against abortion and stand for life issues, joining about 400,000 marchers from all over the world. Mass will be offered at St. Peter’s Church on Capital Hill at 12:10pm. Buses from our Diocese will leave from: St. Mary, Denville (973) 627-2596; St. Michael, Netcong (973) 670-7457. Monday, January 15th our nation honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. May his dream

become a reality in the near future. In observance of this National Holiday the OLSOS offices will be closed. If there is an emergency please call the rectory 973-663-0211 and leave a message with a contact number. Thank you.

SOUP KITCHEN: Our parish is responsible for the noon meal on the fourth Friday of each month at

Trinity Lutheran Church, East Blackwell Street, Dover (973-366-2821). We serve again on Friday,

January 26th and we will be serving between 150 to 190 meals that day. If you can help serve, cook a meal or donate some food please contact Ed Young at 973-270-3512. Thank you. NOTE: Ed is also looking for someone who can fill in as a Team Leader since one leader has moved away. Thank you.
