Break Open the Tomb
Lord of Easter's Promise,
I live in faith of the Resurrection, but such is the nature of my faith that so much of me remains entombed. Break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my compassion, break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my sense of mercy, break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my humility, break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my humanity, break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my love for my Heavenly Father, break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my sense of joy, break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my willingness to forgive, break open the tomb.
Lord, in you I've found a Savior no grave can withstand. Help me to roll away this stone And find the miracle of new life That I may live more fully in your saving grace.
Amen
Good Bye Carol Anne
Join us in offering thanksgiving, for Carol Anne, Tom Cushing’s Niece, who accompanied him on the piano at the Christmas concert, several Mass celebrations, weddings and funerals over the years. She and Tom will be playing for the last time together (for a long while) at the weekend Masses on May 18th and 19th, before she moves to Indiana to pursue her graduate degree in music.
If you are able to attend Mass on this weekend please thank her for her gift of music and service to Sacred Heart.
Parish Grounds
Reminder: there doesn’t need to be a scheduled work day for parishioners to come out to help beautify the garden. We have many areas in need of adoption and can use help mowing the grounds. Contact Angelique Flack at 417-439-0744 in interested. THANK YOU!

Support the Catholic Home Missions Appeal today
Right now, over 40% of dioceses in the United States are considered mission territory because they are unable to fund essential pastoral work in their communities. Your donations support programs, such as religious education, seminary formation, and lay ministry training, to build vibrant faith communities right here in the United States. Please be generous. Find more information at www.usccb.org/home-missions.
2018 Graduates
All graduates (high school or college) please sign you name and address on the sign up sheet in the parish hall. Please check whether you are a high school or college graduate.
