4.CONFIGURINGYOURRAZERNAGA

Basic[123]Configuration

The Razer Naga provides a twelve button [1‐12] Thumb Grid in two configurations: Basic [123] and

Advanced [Num]. In Basic [123] configuration, the twelve buttons [1‐12] are assigned to

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,‐,=ofthekeyboardrespectively.Thisallowsyoutoreplicatethedefaultactionbarfor

mostMMOgamesontotheThumbGrid.Withthisfunction,youhavebettercontrolofyourcharacter’s

movementingame.

Advanced[Num]Configuration

In theAdvanced [Num]mode, the twelve buttons [1‐12] are assigned to1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,‐,+of the

NumberPadforthekeyboardrespectively.Besideyourdefaultactionbar,byassigninggamefunctions

tothenumberpadofyourkeyboard,youwillhaveaccesstomoregamefunctionsrightatyourfinger

tips.Note:ActivatingtheNumLockofthekeyboardaffectsthefunctionoftheThumbGridwhenyour

RazerNagaisintheAdvanced[Num]configuration.

If you do not wantwish to use the ThumbGrid button, click the DISABLE ALL button to disable the

ADJUSTPERFORMANCETAB

1.CurrentSensitivity

Sensitivityishowmuchyourcursormovesonthescreeninrelationtoyourphysicalmovementofthe

mouse. A higher sensitivity valuewould translate to less physicalmovement of themouse, and vice

versa.

In theADJUSTPERFORMANCE tab, the current sensitivityof yourRazerNaga indotsper inch (DPI) is

indicatedandcanbeeasilyadjustedbymovingthearrowalongthesliderinstepsof100DPI.Forgreater

flexibilityinadjustment,youcanselecttheENABLEINDEPENDENTX‐YSENSITIVITYoptionandmovethe

individualXandYarrowsalongtheslider.

TodisplaytheOn‐The‐FlySensitivity indicatoronscreenwheneveryoumakechangesonthefly,select

theENABLEON‐THE‐FLYSENSITIVITYONSCREENDISPLAYoption.

2.Acceleration

Accelerationallowsyoutoincreaseyourphysicalmousemovementtoonscreencursormovementratio

basedontherateofchangeofyourmovementspeed.Thehigherthevalueofacceleration,thehigher

theratiowillbe.YoucanactivateaccelerationbycheckingtheENABLEACCELERATIONboxandmoving

thearrowalongtheslider.

3.PollingRate

The polling rate determines the time intervals that the PC retrieves data from yourmouse. A higher

valuewouldmeanshorter intervalsandtherefore less latency.Youcanswitchbetween125Hz,500Hz

and1000Hz.

MANAGEPROFILESTAB

Aprofile allows you to store your variousmouse settings suchas sensitivity, buttonassignments and

macrosasasinglegroupforyourconvenience.

IntheManageProfilestab,youcancreateandlaunchcustomizedprofilesbasedontheapplicationyou

haveactivated.

Asensitivitystageisapresetsensitivityvalueyoucanswaptoonthefly.Thismeansyoucanchangeto

yourpreferredsensitivityinstantlybytogglingbetweensensitivitystages.

On‐The‐FlySensitivity

On‐The‐FlySensitivityisafeaturethatallowsyoutofine‐tuneyoursensitivitysettingseveninthemidst

ofgameplay.IfOn‐The‐FlySensitivityhasbeenassignedtoabutton,pressingthatassignedbuttonand

movingthescrollwheelwillproduceabaratthelowerright‐handcornerofyourscreen.Whilethis

featureallowsyoutodynamicallyadjustyoursensitivitysettings,itisaccessibleonlyifthedriveris

installed.

3. Do not take apart themouse (doing so will also void your warranty) and do not attempt toserviceityourselforoperateitunderabnormalcurrentloads.

4. Keepyourmouseawayfromliquid,humidityormoisture.Operateyourmouseonlywithinthespecifiedtemperaturerangeof0˚C(32˚F)to40˚C(104˚F).Shouldyouoperateitinatemperaturethat is beyond this range, unplug and switch off the device in order to let the temperaturestabilizewithintheoptimaltemperaturerange.

Hereare some tips toensure that youare comfortablewhileusing yourmouse.Researchhas shown

that long periods of repetitivemotion, improper positioning of your computer peripherals, incorrect

bodyposition,andpoorhabitsmaybeassociatedwithphysicaldiscomfortandinjurytonerves,tendons,

andmuscles.Pleasefollowtheseguidelinestoensurecomfortableuseofyourmouseandavoidinjury.

1. Positionyourkeyboardandmonitordirectlyinfrontofyouwithyourmousenexttoit.Placeyourelbowsnexttoyourside,nottoofarawayandyourmousewithineasyreach.

2. Adjusttheheightofyourchairandtablesothatthekeyboardandmouseareatorbelowelbowheight.
