    WHAT DO WE DO?Journal Production

    All Student Chapters of TAGA compete to produce the best overall

    technical journal. The journal contains research papers written by

    students during their third year Printing Processes course. The best

    research papers are then published in the journal. All of the research

    tests conducted are supported by equipment donations from the

    Canadian printing industry. RYETAGA student members take part in

    every aspect of our journal production.

    The steps that we take in producing our journal are from concept to

    nal product. From the beginning our students research and write all

    the technical writing that is the content of our journal. Our students

    take their creativity to design an innovative concept for the journal.

    Our student members apply what we learn about print and execute

    it during journal production. We preight, impose, proof, print, bind,

    package and present our journal.

    This year in particular, we would like to learn more about FinePix

    REAL 3D Technology, as we are incorporating lenticular technology

    into our journal. As a result, our members at RYETAGA will gain more

    experience and insight in the process of creating our technical journal.
