Week 1 – LET’S GET LEVERAGED!
Recap this weekWe have pulled back the curtain to reveal my experiences with:• 40 Days & Nights Group Coaching• Prosperity Tribe Membership &
Associations• Today – it’s about my Live Event – Rock
Your Prosperity 2012
Live events versus retreats
• A live event has hundreds of people in the room
• A retreat might have 20-30 people in the room
• There are some differences and today I will share about my experience with live events
RYP Live Event - What it was
We wanted to create a transformative experience• Developed for students in the Prosperity
Tribe• Brought them to our live event for free• Charged a deposit that was refunded on
day 1• Live events are tricky!
How It Rocked the House• I enjoy doing live events & I
shine on stage– Decide what’s right for you?
What gives you juice?
• I create a tight container that works well when people are in the same room
• Bring something new to market
• Let your personality show!
How It Rocked the House even more
• My genius includes laser-coaching and creating the experience for everyone in the room.• Is your genius about creating & teaching
about an experience?
• I owned my stage (no other speakers)• Shared with David & we round each other
out• The energetic vibration of the event is
more powerful than their homes
Also consider this:• I prefer to hire an event coordinator • Protect your space– You need supported & protected during
your event
• Know your objective:–Why are you doing the event? What’s
the point?– Are you selling at the event?
Our experienceRock Your Prosperity Live Event 2012• Cost us maybe $40K• Sold 2 programs from the
stage:• We made about $1.2 Million
with a 60% close rate• We gave them a tangible
experience• It was a safe way for me to
break into a new market
It takes a village• Live events are major productions• We had a great support team• Event manager – good blend of
feminine & masculine energy
Belly Flop Failures• Registration was horrific – lack of
experience on our team• Difficulty processing payments• We did not hire a professional event
coordinator – this was our manager’s 1st event
What I would do differently
• Have your team who love you and your brand processing your payments & receiving orders
• Personal support just for you• Do not Print materials – too
expensive• Try to sell the event above the
people you are inviting• Make sure your attendees are your
Tribe
Lessons Learned• Do not recommend video-taping• Possibly include Live-stream?
Consider this…• Give them a rockin’ experience and
sell a mastermind or a train-the-trainer
Who you need to be• Great if you like to go WIDE• You need to be magnetic • You need an amazing team - You
need to be good at getting support around you - Have someone create structure around you
• You need upfront cash• You need to be comfortable selling
from the stage
What you needManage your energy• Grounding exercises, • Stay away from the
attendees in between sessions
• Getting rest at night • Eat & drink right • Have the right support
Are you ready?Does this feel good? Then
GIDDY UP!
